To be fair, those attempts to get to a "large, self-contained missile shooter" at this point date back to almost 70 years back.
It's almost funny how designers everywhere in the world do everything to avoid this extensive path for as long as humanly possible.

Even if surely not an accurate model of the real concept and as such more a generic placeholder, it is anyway a hint towards the PLAAF's future 6th generation fighter concept: Unveiled at the "13th Five-Year Plan" Achievement Exhibition in Shanghai on 24th December 2021.

Dimensionally it does fit what was spotted on satellite photo at CAC facility a while back.

Anyone know what this is?

Looks like a flying wing drone attack plane.

I don't think it is similar -- this model is meant to be depicting twin engines, and the trailing edge of the main wings are lambda whereas the CAC airframe had a continuous trailing edge.
And in terms of dimensions, who don't know how big of an aircraft this model is meant to represent.

This is almost certainly just a generic "future fighter" model.

A tailless high speed flying wing/dorito/arrowhead configuration is virtually guaranteed for the general planform of the 6th generation fighter... I think we should be wary about attributing similarities between airframes, concepts, studies, and models just because they fit that same overall planform.

WIll be interesting to see the time table for these 6th generation fighter. Don't know how fast they will come and if the j-20 will never have the time to receive the WS-15 because of that.

There are some rumours that WS-10C, the latest variant of TaiHang, has already met most of the original requirements of WS-15, so the latter has to redesign and make high standards.
