The new satellite received a new antenna system, including a main antenna with a throughput of 1.2 Gbps, more than double that of Tianlian-1. The function of multi-user planning was introduced, the number of simultaneously serviced spacecrafts doubled. In addition, it became possible to service unmanned reconnaissance aircraft and hypersonic vehicles outside the line of sight, as well as civil aircraft and expeditionary ships.

This means it can provide it‘s own remote sensing data to a hypersonic vehicle directly, or via a multipath. I think that takes care of the targeting problem.

I think the net is part of the debris grabbing mechanism. Though it is not part of the Erlangshen mythology.

It is about a net of 1600 square meters to catch non-cooperative object. The research is by the Defense Tech University and Beijing Polythech, both are heavy weight military and space institutes. It is also sited by other space heavy weight institutes in "how to produce and pack such net".

I would be glad if after demonstrating this capability, China put a satellite close to a high value US satellite just to return the favour for what US did month ago.
