An interesting opinion piece

Shoigu said “This month, during the u.s Global Thunder strategic force exercise, 10 strategic bombers practiced the scenario of using nuclear weapons against russia practically simultaneously from the western and eastern directions,”

Sometimes you just have to wonder, does american leaders have rocks in their brain? Antagonising a nuclear superpower and an economic superpower at the same time, what do they expect will happen?

The article also says:
CNN reported this week that “ships in Chinese waters are disappearing from global trackers, creating yet another headache for the global supply chain. China's growing isolation from the rest of the world –- along with a deepening mistrust of foreign influence -– may be to blame.”

But the story here may not be isolation, but rather that China could be creating a parallel global system. This includes its own social media and other ways it has created a parallel internet powerhouse. One day perhaps, the world will be caught off guard, as it was during the pandemic in early 2020, and find that its shipping norms or Internet have been challenged.

Does it means that those Chinese ships switch off their "tracker ID" in Chinese waters? Is it real beyond the CNN report? And if true, what's the purpose? To avoid the tracking... but for what?

Well, look forward to other sources for better article on this "signed roadmap for closer military ties" by Russia and China... what does it mean in essence and its actual impact.

Greens taking the foreign ministry

That means the CIA is taking charge. Surely the CIA is going to hold a neutral stance towards China...
If Germany will go the confrontation way, we will see the the German automobile industry castration in China, especially now when there is recent move to New energy vehicles.

Sad to see Vietnam sold its skin to their own enemies...
The price to back to the right side in the future will be much higher than it is now...
Vietnam is looking after its own national interests

China cannot expect that Vietnam and the rest of the region will simply "roll over". Instead it is up to China to give the appropriate ratio of carrots and sticks to the region in order to keep them neutral

Vietnam is cleverly using its "neutral" stance to milk benefits from both sides

Malaysia government bans The Battle at Lake Changjin film for 'promoting communism'. Yeah, the film does portray the CPC just too positively for Malaysian govt censors. This govt, who readily welcomes Zakir Naik for political asylum. A controversial Salafi Islam figure who has promoted Salafi ideas and Islamic terrorism. Yeah, apparently those ideas are healthier for Malaysians.

This just further confirms that the real stance of the Malaysian govt is Sinophobic, despite the mix messages they have sent out. I have no doubt in my mind. This is not a new development. The Malaysian education system for decades, teaches and brainwashes school kids to be anti-communist. They also have literature that describes Ming Dynasty China as being 'divinely' beneath the Malaysian Sultanate. Old habits just die hard.

I do not pretend to be an expert on Malaysian history, but from what I understand is that Chin Ping is one of the most feared historical figures by the Malaysian government. The government would not even allow his remains to be buried in Malaysia.

One of the issues that I read was since the government's power was given and enforced by the British, they don't want to be seen as collaborators and the communists as freedom fighters. There are well documented acts of genocide by the British, so this could (and has in the past) severely upset the stability of the country.

The US is taking extra steps to prevent China's military from claiming

focuses on a mix of companies and researchers, including QuantumCTek and the Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at Microscale. The US also added three affiliates of Corad Technology Limited, a Chinese firm on the list since 2019, although it wasn't clear that quantum computing was involved — it was also accused of backing Iran's military and space programs as well as North Korea "front companies."

The broader Entity List update included 27 organizations and people, including 13 in Pakistan accused of backing the country's "unsafeguarded" nuclear or ballistic missile programs.

This is unlikely to put a stop to China's military uses of quantum computing when the country may need to research and develop much of the technology in-house. The expanded blocklist might slow things down, however, by limiting China's access to American processors and other equipment that could fast-track development. Consider this a stumbling block that gives the US a better chance of

I recall that cnbc video about why gm brands like buick and Cadillac doing so well in China but not even in the parent country where it has fallen out of favour. I think at the end of the day it just a matter of taste. Like why some Hollywood films did well in china but bombed in US.
I remember that video. It is true that mostly a taste.
