When an American company releases a cool luxury vehicle only meant for the Chinese market and not even the American market.

And I thought Lincoln was an All American company serving Americans Buying American

I always historically avoided Lincoln dealerships like the plaque despite the luxury label because they look old and stuffy and for 70 year olds. But I'm now piqued.

More and more you will have design language appealing to Chinese consumers. Like how Lincoln designed this for the young Chinese consumer looking for their first luxury car. Aston Martin customized color palettes that Chinese people like like certain hues of red or light blue

American cars have a much better reputation in China than they do in the U.S. Though this has to do with the fact that the Japanese/Koreans do relatively poor QC in China than they do in the U.S. whereas U.S. automakers are even across the board.

To be fair, Japanese cars except Lexus never had the reputation for luxury in China than some big American brands such as Cadillac and Lincoln even though their reliability is less than Toyota. This is pretty much the same as BBA (in Europe) who are always behind Japanese cars in reliability and maintanance cost, but people still prefer them for the look and feel.

Well I hope Genesis changes the Asian luxury landscape. 捷尼赛思。It has the potential to usurp BBA.

And of course a whole bevy of Chinese EVs like Nio and Xpeng

Disagree for a couple reasons
1. American cars in America are saddled with the baggage of their 80's - 90's reputations. This continues to drag on their sales. Quality had caught up in the 2000's which was incidentally when GM really pushed into China.
2. GM especially has been working very hard to tailor their cars to the Chinese market. Buick sales in America are basically nothing, but there is a fear from GM that not selling Buick in the home market would affect Chinese sales (something like looking like selling a second class product in China)

I also agree with not posting twitter "shitposts" from random white idiot dudes.
I mean West Virginia? Trailer park capital of the world?

Hey EU/Germany, are you seeing this? You may want to rein in Lithuania

Between a SK brand and a German brand, I don't see why Chinese should prefer the Korean one except for personal taste. I don't believe anything "race", to me Korean and Asian are no more/less preferable than German and European. Not accusing you for anything, but just saying. And we should stay clear from this kind of thing. :)

From the styling perspective, Genesis is pretty similar to an Audi A7 sportback.
