I don't really have a strong reaction toward either Squid Game or Parasite. Probably due to the fact that I read a few manga that have similar storyline of Squid Game such as liar game. It is still way better than many things coming out of Hollywood these days. It might be due to political correctness or just out of idea or just getting lazy for easy money by producing sequel but Hollywood has not had good stuff for many years.

Full movie here though not so clear. Look like a pirate take from cinema. Watch it if you like before it might be taken down.

Apparently test scenes for the movie were sent to DPRK for their opinion and they weren't impressed with the chinese actor playing

I’m averse to korean kdrama and K-pop so I have avoided watching squid game even though I have Netflix and apparently is most watched show on Netflix. Dun know if its worth my time though

I share your sentiment, especially with K-pop, but Squid Game is an exception, I'm watch it given the hype around it and its anti-capitalist message, I'm enjoying it so far.

Korean films tend to be ok with some being pretty damn good, credit to where credit is due.

Lol Saving Private Ryan, Bridge of the River Kwai and all the Propaganda movies including the Rambo series, Top Gun are factual depictions of the American military heroism? Must China and the Chinese people just watch the shitload of garbage that's being churned out from Hollywood, movies that have no bearing and Cultural resonance with China and yet that Chinese-western loving sycophant want the Chinese people to pretty much toe the western ideals, culture and viewpoints over the Chinese.

This article is nothing but useless garbage that frankly doesn't offer anything new that would actually explain the nuance and actual thinking of the Chinese people. It's all CCP bad, Chinese people are coerced to watch a "PROPAGANDA MOVIE" and the Chinese people are none the wiser. Oh poor China lol
