I forgot to ask earlier but all those 191s have their bolt taken out correct? If I remember, someone said someone got hurt messing with the bolt so they took it out. I don't know much about bolts but it does look empty. Correct me if i'm wrong.
Have we actually seen a picture of the actual bolt? I think it's an AK bolt judging by the guide-rail/ejector combo but I cant imagine them locking into the frame like an AK since it's aluminum.

Very curious about the lock on this design...

It seems that both the QBZ-191 and QBZ-192 in the expo have QMK-171A as their optic. Does anyone knows the difference of that optic with the qmk-152 and qmk-171?

Is this official? because it looks like they didnt show the cutout in the bolt face for the external ejector.

It also didnt really answer the question about the locking of the bolt.
It seems that it isn't official. It's been posted a couple of pages back and seems to be fan-made. The only official work of anything inside the gun was some paper showing the interior of an earlier build of the weapon in the first couple pages of this thread.

All low grain :(, looking for the bolt is like trying to find bigfoot.

According to this post from the past:
For the first, the status of the bid is said to be "purchasing", if my Chinese isn't gone rusty, then that means purchase was underway as of December; we don't know whether those seen in October are of the same model but were the evaluation batches...

There are 2 model designation for the same scope, QMK171 for the QBZ95 series and QMK152 (have to flip back several pages to get a better read on the model number).

Until we see them properly debut the whole set of kit either on TV or open house exhibition (the latter is really unlikely for the next 12 months, especially with COVID-19 still out there and no vaccine available for another 12 months at least, not to mention HK is still a mess), it's impossible to say much in certainty about this.

According to this post from the past:
Right. I already knew that qmk-171 is for older qbz 95, and qmk 152 for qbz-191 and other picatinny railed firearms. The thing is, the optics in the exhibition say QMK-171A, which gives me the impression of being an improved model. Perhaps in the past people reported mistakenly the QMK-171A as just 171? Or maybe this is an new improved universal model? As it seems capable of comfortably being sit on the picatinny rails, while the previous qmk-171 attaches to the rifle optic mounts of the qbz-95.

BTW, i realized that the new family of PLA guns share the same or similar ergonomics to the QBZ-191. The cs/ls7 for example, has the same pistol grip, and the fixed stock model is highly similar as well.
