Love how just talking about stopping China's technological rise through war is even mentioned. Can you imagine what if China or any non-Western entity openly talked about doing that against the West? That would be used as excuse for war. I remember when China sent its first Taikonaunt into space, there were people who actually called for shooting the rocket down while at launch. Do you see any Chinese talking like that to prevent the West from advancing? That is cause for worry in the US because just from China advancing, it will be no surprise that the US finds it easier to destroy, as in directly trying to stop China, than just investing in their own technologies.
