Bloomberg seems to be a bit obsessed with Xi.

These are *western* worries. Xi can attend virtually these meetings. And lol at "avoids" the G20 and climate meetings. All these are window-dressings for the US containment strategies against China.

China will attend the meetings but the West shouldnt expect any compromises from China. If that leads to a climate catastrophe, then so be it. Would be a good test to see which country is better suited to handle natural disasters (hint: it isnt the US)
According to SCMP, Xi will attend virtually G20 meeting in Rome. Xi must know full well that 'western internationalized-world' is capable to 'soleimanize' its adversaries.

Exactly. The US still commands considerable soft power which can easily mobilise in such meeting thus "isolating" China.

Xi can sit in his comfortable office in Beijing and mute the conversation when needed lol.

US, UK, France, Germany etc: "We support a rules-based international order and we would like to ask China to respect internat-"

Xi presses mute button
Xi then plays China's national athlem with max volume

Xi: "So about that win-win relationship and friendship between countries"

All this Anglo obsession with meeting Xi in person makes me highly suspicious that they have nefarious intentions. Remember that current western party-approved thinking is that Xi is the source of all their problems.

Who could rule out the US/UK/Australia/India deliberately putting covid delta positive people in the room when they have an in person meeting with Xi to try and infect him?

Will Chinese policy largely change if Xi passed away, I doubt it. Most of the decisions that China takes are under Xi are largely under a committee. This obsession with pinning "China's turn" on Xi is based on false intelligence reports that build him up as "Xictator".

They would not have the balls to try a direct assassination as that would be an act of war and will result in massive US military casualties when China retaliates, that they will be personally responsible for. Deliberately infecting Xi with covid has enough plausible deniability that they would never need to worry about having to personally face the consequences of their actions.

Its western wishful thinking for the most part, but there really isn’t anyone who looks to be able to easily step into Xi’s shoes at short notice and be as capable and effective. But the Anglos would do it just out of spite alone.

Japanese company that exported machinery capable of making bio-weapons to China sues over arrests

Three executives of Ohkawara Kakohki Co. in Yokohama were arrested last year for exporting spray dryers which can be used to make biological agents

This comes as Tokyo cracks down on suspicious exports of technology with potential military uses, under apparent pressure from the US

Oh dear. That Taliban 2.0 feels more of a Taliban 1.1..

Hopefully the new government will take a softer stance toward women rights. I cant see China openly supporting Afghanistan with such oppresive policies towards women rights
Every western country has an embassy in Riyadh, I don't see why Taliban should be treated with a different standard.
