"Around 2.1 GW of solar projects representing a total investment of about $2.2 billion on a payroll of 3,000 construction workers is at risk as U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) enforces action to stop the flow of goods that may have been produced using forced labor in China’s Xinjiang region."

Yes, South Korean populace is definitely more anti-China compared to Japan. Japanese populace tends to be apolitical. But, I wouldn't trust polls too much especially if they're being used to push an anti-China agenda. These journos are trying to push a narrative to manufacture consent. Most of all, China is in a total position of strength when it comes to South Korea especially with the help of North Korea. Any action by South Korea is easily manageable. Plus, it is election season so they gonna talk big.

''We have more negative views of China therefore we should be more hostile towards China'' is an agenda that media always pushes.

They pulled similar tricks on Germany. ''Look at how much Germans hate China now because of the more negative view of China. Germany, it is time to adopt all of Uncle Sam's policies on China.'' But the Greens' anti China announcements failed to attract voters to them.

''Haha, look at how China's wolf warrior diplomacy is destroying China's image among voters all over the world.'' Yes, I doubt you could find 5 people on the street who even knows what in the world is '' wolf warrior diplomacy''.

1000 respondents were chosen from where? For example, I know neighbourhoods here in the Netherlands where you would have neo-Nazi ideas dominate such polls, yet Neo-Nazism is very weak in the Netherlands. There is simply no possibility of South Koreans viewing China in a more negative way than Japan.
@BoraTas Sir its from NYT what else can you expect...lol, that survey is a feel good materials used to maintain the USA #1 narratives after what happen in Afghanistan. It was used so frequently that I think it defeat its purpose.

So what if South Koreans hate China. What are they going to do? Threaten war with China? This is a manipulation by the US because they want Chinese to value being liked as important. And I always say to Asians who like to point out how people hate China is are they the No.2 power in the world making No.1 feel insecure? And China achieved it without being liked. Asian ethnicities notoriously hate each other over nationalism. What has changed? Nothing.

Considering what that SK athlete said at the Olympics after loosing to an Iranian, I have no doubt NED/CIA have been running intensively propaganda brainwashing campaigns in SK.

Once China becomes self-sufficient in semi-conductors(especially after reaching 7mn) , there is very little in trade that China that needs from South Korea or Japan. If they become very hostile, simply close the Chinese market for their goods. They will keep them in line.
