I am also suspicious of the conclusion. Firstly, the Pakistani Foreign minister called it an accident within a few days, that was too easy too soon. He then retracted after China disagreed. Now after capturing only one suspect, with two more on the run, they concluded it is India and Afghanistan behind it, it is too convenient. It is also strange that the announcement has no Chinese consent even though China has investigators in the team. It looks like somebody in Pakistan is trying to force Chinese hands.
Also, wouldn’t something so sensitive, and potentially explosive, be shared, discreetly, at the highest levels of liaison, before any such public revelations had been made? And, as you point out, then, when revelations were made, have been made jointly?

I know this should be in the Japanese military news. But it's also news in general. And I wanted to concentrate on their headline:

"China's growing threats". Now tell me when was the last time China ever invaded Japan, and when was the last time Japan invade China? Isn't it this typical of the MSM.

Japan is one of the biggest buyers of Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II stealth fighter jets. However, the world’s “most advanced” combat jet has a major shortcoming, prompting Tokyo to expedite its next-generation F-3 or F-X fighter program in the face of growing threats from China.

The Eurasiantimes is an Indian soft propaganda and disinfo outlet. The article is beyond garbage.

Stupidity on a whole different level. Surly someone from his management team should have advise him on this. So I'm not sure it just pure stupidity. Or it could be more to this sorry saga.
Well, I won't be surprised that whole team and to a greater extent the whole entertainment circle and part of the society are as "stupid" as himself. Therefor it is not an issue of individuals.

We have witnessed lots of "stupidities" in recent decade that went against norm, that a portion of society try to make their fame by being different. Example:
  1. Playing up "regional division". Such as, in some news report not long ago, emphasizing the place of origin of a criminal as NOT local as if local people never commit crime.
  2. Adopting foreign imported concept to destroy Chinese concept such as "Inner Asia" instead of Chinese western region
  3. Some people dressed up like Manchu banner man walking around in Ming emperors mausoleum.
  4. Some people dressed up in Japanese clothes in Wuhan University
  5. Some people promoting the Japanese concept of 崖山之后无中华, calling Yuan and Qing dynasties as foreign or conquest dynasties
  6. Some people rejecting that Chinese is a mix of people through thousands years of conquest and expansion. Trying to define themselves or their region as "pure" Chinese.
  7. All the above created the existence of 明粉,宋粉,国粉,美粉,精日,哈韩. Fan of Ming (dynasty), Song (dynasty), Fan of ROC, Fan of USA, Spiritual Japanese, South Korea worshiper.
If it took more than a decade to create this amount of trash, it will take similar amount of time to cleanse.

Honestly, the more and more I think about the withdrawal from Afghanistan. It seems like a terrible move. The amount of US and forces that US needs to keep the country in the hands of the Afghan government is far from draining. It makes no sense from a strategic point of view. The blow to American prestige and morale will be immerse. It is not worth the price of having a ''clean plate''. It seems more like Biden just wants to find a way to leave a mark on his presidency. This is a debacle of the highest order. As America is anxious about its standing in the world, this is the last thing America needs.

This is the fall of Saigon, repeated over 40 years later.

The Americans that they were pulling troops out of Vietnam because they equipped the South Vietnamese army.

As the Americans were pulling out their troops, the North Vietnamese Army prepared themselves.

When Biden announced that US troops will leave Afghanistan by September, the door was opened for history to repeat itself.

Here is a rant I made at another forum:-

=========================================

This is just as bad as the Fall of Saigon, probably worst.

The real last battle in the Vietnam War, there was real infantry fighting, artillery, and American bombing runs.

The battle of Xuân Lộc was a NVA offensive, and there was heavy resistance, but the south retreated anyways. Then they melted away, the NVA advanced and surrounded Saigon. The fall of Saigon, there was no battle, just surrender.

That according to the history books, were events on the battlefield over the course of roughly a month and a half in Vietnam.

This past month in Afghanistan, there are no major battles like the last battle of the Vietnam War. There are random firefights then indiscriminate bombing runs from the Americans.

Official Afghanistan resistance is melting away, they are simply running. That is how this Afghan War is coming to an end. The Taliban follows Sun Tzu, trying to win by not firing a shot. The Afghan government follows the 36-Tricks, the last trick where it says to run away is the best.

This is bizarre. The Americans actually fought in the Vietnam War. The Americans have no use for history.

I still remember Papa Bush saying after defeating Saddam Hussein forces with his coalition in the first Gulf War that America finally got rid of the stigma of Vietnam.

We cannot forget who started this Afghan War, a 20 year adventure with the exact same Vietnam War outcome, none other that Sonny Dubya Bush.

Things have definitely come full circle. The ironies of time and history.

:D

If true that the friend getting married was Chinese, then that's madness. Sometimes people who obtained too much wealth too soon can get carried away. Zhang Zhehan is probably one of those terrible examples.

The thing about many of the rich and elite people. They tend to create and mingle within an exclusive class of their own. Their circle of friends tend to be from the same society. They tend to marry amongst each other. This can breed arrogance, and a lack of empathy for the common folk. This happens to any elite societies around the world. Though not all rich and elite people are like that, many tend to fall into that same trap.

It is a good thing that China has a government and society that will not allow the rich and elites to do what ever the want. I just wish we had at least 10% of that here in Malaysia. Because here in Malaysia, the rich and elites can get away with murder. I mean it literally.
His friend is one quarter Jap and the bride is Chinese

I can't think of any Japanese actors who would even go to such a place. Japanese entertainment products play off well in China. Even they don't risk it. So, it is crazy that a Chinese person would to so so. Maybe if a Taiwanese did that it would make some sense, at least.

I could be wrong on this but there was a porn star who went in the early 2010s. Not a problem since porn is banned in China and they can't make money from China anyway.
