Smallpox was not particularly infectious and was very easy to beat with a vaccine due to it being DNA virus which hardly ever mutates. Coronavirus being around for far longer than smallpox, at least since paleolithic age, and being RNA virus means no vaccine works due to high mutation rate.
As of writing, the handover ceremony is still going on. Half a million doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccine from the USA arrives in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
However, this J&J supply is contaminated and was rejected by US government for domestic use. Thailand should not accept it.
Why do you think covid was created in the labs in the first place for? To do vaccine diplomacy. You think covid is natural? Think again.

Who told you this? I've just got off the phone with my in laws in Lukou not long ago and things seem pretty in control. Even the tourist sites around Nanjing are still open. Nanjing is about 50% vaccinated but currently vaccination are all on halt as medical staff are all on testing (currently waiting on 3rd round of full population test results). Teams from across the province have arrived in town to help out but there's no need yet for teams from other provinces unlike the few big outbreaks last year.
In terms of scale this outbreak is way smaller than things like Urumqi or Harbin or Beijing last year.

Pastor Tyler, your country's own covid-19 cases has risen to 500,332 new cases (a 131% increase) the week ending July 25 compared to the previous week, the . And that's with your super dooper mRNA vaccines you've been peddling like Pablo Escobar. Vaccines alone will not help stem the tide in bringing down or stopping the cases from flaring up. Nanjing is experiencing an exponential rise in cases brought that came from outside its borders. America must clean up it's act soon otherwise the virus mutation will render the existing vaccines useless mRNA or not.
