What other market? As if capitalism doesn’t make these companies seek out all markets worldwide?
Who will replace the Chinese market?
The Indians with a siazable Muslim population?
The Middle East with its minuscule alcoholic ruling class?
The Europeans with their own French wine industry?
American and Canada with their own wine industry?
The latter of whom are eagerly lapping up Australia’s lost market share in China?

they’re dreaming, Australia’s lost the Chinese market forever.
Not to mention Chinese wines are already winning blind taste competitions

The massive inferiority complex of the Anglos (along with other Westerners) is super cringy to watch

Its a hilariously pathetic attempt at playing the victim. Even that Australian idiot author acknowledges that China’s threat of missile attack on Australia is conditional on Australia first sending its military forces to directly attack Chinese military forces in a Taiwan scenario. In which case Australia would have already effectively declared war on China, which according to him is fine, but China hitting back is ‘bullying’.

Really gives you an idea of the kind of delusional entitlement at play at the heart of western right wingers that they have grown so used to actually bullying and victimising weak countries with zero fighting chance that actually facing the realities of what war means feels ‘unfair’ to them.

If Australia is moronic enough to make such a suicidal move, China won’t just be lobbing a few ballistic missiles at them and calling it even. That will just be for starters. I fully expect the PLAN to park a couple carrier strike groups off their coast and pound them back into the Stone Age. Afterwards they can look forwards to paying crippling reparations to China for generations as conditions of surrender. Maybe even a Chinese garrison to help them rebuild both their infrastructure as well as their society to be a less racist and cruel version.

我注意到有关报道。这是俄日双边关系问题,应由双方之间妥善解决。同时,中方一贯主张,世界反法西斯战争胜利成果应切实得到尊重和遵守。
"I have noticed this news. This is a bilateral border issue between Russia and Japan and should be dealt with appropriately between the two sides. At the same time China have always had the opinion that the fruit of victory by global anti-fascist alliance should be respected and held up."

China haters will say the DOD is just trying to scare Congress to get more money. Others will say China can take Taipei in 24 hours based off this. What's the truth?
In reality, war games are often designed to be challenging for one's own side in order to highlight weaknesses and strengthen capabilities. However, if you look at the gross strategic background, Taiwan is either incredibly dangerous to China or incredibly indefensible. It's one or the other; it can't be defended without threatening to bomb through the entire PLA, and if it can't be defended, it's effectively lost.

As I've said with India, the Americans (the Americans properly in this situation) will always make the correct choice, but not before exhausting all the other options. They're just exploring the other options now.

Please cite any examples showing or showcasing any semblance of this "correct choice" you wrote. I am intellectually curious as to what those example actually are.

What i really want to see is China destroy Canada's iced wine industry. When China announced tariffs on Australia's Treasury Wines, the share price dropped 20% and needed to halt trading. They've been talking about diversification since 2020 with no concrete results; China remains the world's largest wine market.
