The country that started the pandemic is number 1 for safest places to be who comes up with this crap
as expected really, the Westernized elite who rule over us pretty much do not read anything that hasn't been vetted by the CIA/USAGM/State Dept. Just recently the medical official in charge still insisted that Pfizer and Moderna have 90+% efficacy at preventing infection, ignoring the Israel incident etc and even the evidence in Singapore, while harping on the outbreaks in Sinovac-using countries.
This kind of sight must make them absolutely furious:
but they are trying hard to appear neutral...
Not going to work... The Opposition has never even once criticised existing foreign policy. here you have the Leader of the Opposition praising the existing foreign policy.
and here is Singapore's most popular Opposition news site, which exclusively uses Western MSM sources about everything China-related
You see down here, promoting ANYTHING Chinese will get you accused of being racist/chauvinistic towards minorities. That's why I don't like people playing the race card around here...
Bro, Influenza only existed for 43 years?Yes 34 200 deaths in 2018-2019 , thats in Influenza's 43rd year of existance ! Do you think Covid will still be taking that many lives in 42 years time?
You think spanish flu and Influenza are the same thing do you ok Einstein? You must be an American also thenBro, Influenza only existed for 43 years?
Ever heard of 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic? Influenza virus has existed for thousands of years.
You are entirely clueless anti-vaxxer, an entire joke.
yeah we really need to learn to filter out the bs from the english-speaking journalists in this country haha especially since this publication has a british parent companythat article is hilariously biased.
About 11% of Singaporeans are descended from the Pearl River Delta. Unlikely to be HK, since he is a senior civil servant and has no trace of the Hong Kong accentsurname suggest might have HK root
The Singapore government frequently promotes ties with India, no matter how suicidal. Especially this nightmare economic treaty involving investments, expatriate visas, tariff elimination etc that they continue upholding for no logical reason, even as the Indian government keeps using it to demand more visas for their expatriates. It seems that when it was signed, the powers that be really believed that India will become a superpower that Singaporeans can benefit from. But shhh, raise it up and some might call you a racist!is it okay to promote Indian b.s.? I understand the subject of race or the notion of promoting one race over the other is taboo in Singapore for political and peace/stability reasons but to deny or pretend that the largely Chinese population that make up your country isn't Chinese is just interesting to say the least
I just noticed something for Canadians/Ontarians, in case it is relevant for anyone
Looks like Sinopharm is officially recognized by the Ontario government now. By the wording, Sinovac should be as well at some point.
Just to add, doesn't mean you can get it here, but if they do any vaccine passport schemes, then it should apply
Why is it okay to be proud of Indian heritage but then somehow shames or worst pretend that the Singaporean Chinese are not "Chinese" or ask implicitly to deny their Chinese heritage? I am again thankful that it's the CPC that's in the government of China and that it's General Secretary Xi Jinping that's at the helm of leadership in China that encourage the spirit of nationalism and to be proud of it's Chinese heritage. There's nothing to be ashamed of being Chinese at all.yeah we really need to learn to filter out the bs from the english-speaking journalists in this country haha especially since this publication has a british parent company

Shortly after PM Lee and Pres Xi opened the China Cultural Centre in Singapore , Lee had to go open a Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre that narrowly celebrates only locally developed Chinese activities In his opening speech he had to emphasise that Singaporean Chinese are different from China, Taiwan or HK
If you are in Singapore for a long enough time you'd notice that the government has been extremely successful at creating a mental disconnect between China and Chinese. "Chinese" is reserved for local Chinese things; anything China-related is never called "Chinese" but "ChinA" with the letter A emphasised, or if they really want to be derogatory, they will say "PRC". This is the same Singapore that celebrated the 10th October Revolution with massive parades every year until the 1950s.
On top of that is endless guilt tripping with the multiculturalism card. We've got to the point where everyone expects fast food/family dining chains in the country to meet Islamic dietary requirements, and Tamil, a language spoken by half of the 9% of citizens who are of Indian-descent, has to be included in announcements and sign boards. But because the trains use only English and Mandarin to announce stations, there is a continuous swarm of angry open letters complaining of racial injustice and chauvinism. So you'd understand why people are scared. Being associated to China is either a badge of shame or a millstone around the neck: look at this survey:View attachment 74103

@piko1 with all due respect , that doctor lost credibility on my part with his condescending attitude and white privilege. If you have the time please review his past video regarding early reports of covid in Spain way before Wuha
Also don't forget that many of the elites and establishments in Singapore are products of the elitist Anglo centric system. Most of these senior civil servants and ruling politicians have been educated in elitist system, culminating in Harvard, Yale and Cambridge with outlook that identifies with Anglo-centric system. I'm quite sure many of them have been cultivated by the US government, agencies or multi-nationals in one way or another throughout their careers.Countries like Singapore are just opportunist jackals. Unable to compete with the apex predators of the world, they resort to favour currying for scraps.
They know they will always be at the mercy of bigger countries, so they seek the protection of the strongest faction.
Once the American decline becomes too obvious to deny, they will change their tune right quick.
