You are more likely to get killed by a car getting your grocery than for something like this to happen, statistically speaking.
That is true. But it is a meaningless point to some people. Yes the chance of side effects from AZ may be lower than getting killed by a car. But the chance of getting covid-19 with face-masking and social distances could be even lower. At least for people like me. That is why I have decided not to take AZ when I was offered vaccination, luckily I got BioNTech because AZ has been paused indefinitely as people refuse it.

The problem of convincing with statistic data is that from an individual perspective everybody can be that unlucky (much higher chance) person and nobody want to take that chance if they have other alternatives that they can control.

It seems Russia's covid situation is getting worse while the rest of the world is getting better. Death rate is very high and by now per capita wise Russia's total deaths has exceeded that of America, Britain.

How did you reach that conclusion? Here is the screen capture of your link.
Russia has much lower cases and deaths per million population than most of the top 11 countries except India (whose data is a joke). Another thing to be cautious of reading these data is the ridiculously "good" data from India.

Why would anybody (covax included) want a country without any expertise and industry capacity to build such plant instead of increasing the capacity of existing plant? Can't understand the way that the Vietnamese think.

"good luck" to Foxconn in convincing BioNTech to break its legal binding contract obligation. I wonder if Foxconn is willing to foot the would-be legal penalty incurred to BioNTech. Just as J&J said, at this point of pandemic I don't think any vaccine supplier is going to sell vaccines to private entity, if this precedent is set expect a huge black market.

Foxconn actually has negotiated with Fosun. The arrangement is that Foxconn would sign a contract with Fosun and BioNTech would deliver the vaccines directly from German instead of Fosun warehouse.

Too many words. This is just the US trying to gain leverage vs China after Trump idiotically threw all of the US cards in the open.

If it wasn't for the Lab leak theory it would be for something else. Truth is, that US has gotten desperate after using so many of its cards and watching China steamrolling any opposition without using any of its own cards

So China has kept its cards and resisted the temptation to use them against the US in the past years.

This is why China scares the West so much. It resisted all these attacks without seriously counterattacking and it still grew.

China "sat" back and coldly watched as various of its industries were suffering from Trump's trade and tech war.

Now China has emerged stronger and it is still not using any cards even with the US "weakened" by covid. This is terrorising for them.

China is sitting back like an old but experienced man, watching and watching. When he truly takes action though, RIP to his target

One thing I am certain, is that when China decides to finaly come for the US' neck, then God help the US, I dont think that China will miss.
God damn the USA, for these dogs trying to spread the word of God through death and destruction without any remorse (when the Bible specifically preaches against such things, although I guess these people cannot even read) When God strikes the USA, may he make the destruction be so great that from now until the end of time, the entire race of Anglo saxons will be placed into the same status of all the other minorities of the world right now, an entire race that exist to suffer at everyone’s leisure, just like they have been doing and are still trying to do to everyone else for so long and still believe they have that right

Can someone explain to me why India is "world's largest vaccine producer"? Is this just normal flu vaccines they produce, or are they largest COVID vaccine producer?

Also, if India is the "world's largest vaccine producer" (charitably including COVID vaccines), then why does China and US lead the world in total COVID vaccinations, while India is like...very far behind in total vaccinations (i'm not talking about per capita).
