Is Pakistan even involved in the sale to Argentina? I thought that they were exporting FC-1 block 3 and Chinese representatives did the demo and Q/A session, but I can be wrong.

It was just that most jf-17 flying are with Martin Baker seat... just a bad interpretation of onboard systems in the offer to Argentina,

Hi my understanding is Chinese involvement if there is any to Argentina like they did with Myanmar sale of FC1
once Chinese involvement is paramount hopefully configuration of JF17/FC1 will be the same like airforce of Myanmar

What could the JF-17 do against the Boko Haram that the Wingloong/CH-3/4 couldn't?

Drop large amount (much larger than Wingloong) of ordnance against Boko Haram. No need guided ones, just dump bombs is enough.

Exactly. Buying a combat drone or a gunship would make much more sense for CI ops. So either Nigeria just splurged a lot of money on a trophy weapon, or they are trying to build up serious conventional airforce.

But it costs a lot more money to fly a JF-17 sortie. Not to mention the risk of crash/shoot down by enemy forces and death/capture of pilot.
