No need to detest. The US is going for a total war against China. If China idiotically wants to take the "high-road" against the US and ultimately lose then thats on them.
China should start cutting deals with drug cartels from around the world and export all these drugs to the US and the EU(if it starts going anti-China) for a super low price of $1 per 1gr.
Then wait 1-2 years and see the entire West going drug addict with these super cheap drugs.
On the surface China is trying to take the high road, but underneath it all, China is taking contingencies given how they are cutting deals in the Middle East and with Russia right now and also given how the USA is currently in a very picarious state with food shortages, drought and the hurricane season coming in hot along with the fact that the economy isn’t bouncing back anytime soon, this is a battle of attrition since China can at least make most of their own chips (not the best but still) while the USA has an abject shortage and cannot make more while closing companies that require them most. With Taiwan in a very bad spot (electricity, water and pandemic problems, all heavily impacting the chip industry in Taiwan) and India, Australia and Japan in a horrible bind with so may issues right now the situation for China isn’t as one sided as one might think. In fact you could say that China is killing it with the only opposition, the USA is now desperately grasping for any kind of a win since they have mostly driven Russia away to China. I say China and Russia shouldn’t recklessly act while letting the situation in the USA get worse since Biden is trying to pass yet other multi trillion dollar bill. Of course if China sees a weakness, simply strike when the iron is hot. As reminder, the covid in India, the stuff ups in Ukraine that has drive Russia further away from Europe, the problems in the European Union, the gas pipeline hacks, Taiwan’s existential crisis, the attack at the White House has all happened without China involvement. I believe given that this is the years of the ox, more interesting things are likely to come down the pike, none of which is going to be good for the USA, I mean you know it’s bad if they are trying to offer free iPhones just to get people to go back to work at McDonald’s in the USA rather then them having to live on stimulus for the rest of their lives.
the only true advantage that the USA has right now is the media, but once the reality sinks in and mad max comes along, the media will be powerless to stop what happens next. We are witnessing history right now.
It is funny how the USA is acting like the Shu kingdom of the three kingdoms, going to war in the name of benevolence while China is seemingly like the Jin empire, waiting for the best moment to crush everyone when the opposition has run out of cards to play. The scary part, is that right now, the USA has only just begun to get a real taste of things to come and they are becoming more unhinged
