Great take from RT. I usual to think RT sits on the fence with matters relating to China and U.S. (I believed the Russians still hoping to be on the west's good book just like the good old G8 days). Now with the killer Putin, and the warmer strategic relationship with China. RT seem to take on a more of a pro-china role.

The problem with the Biden admin is that they have very little leverage left over China after Trump has expended all the ammunition in the past three years of Trade/Tech Wars. If Biden had the option to choke Huawei, I don’t think he’d resort to using COVID conspiracy theories. Right now he is just grasping for anything that can help.
Last three years' trade war, tech war and COVID war have also greatly exposed the US and its various weakness. The Biden administration and many of the US elites are increasingly relying on rhetoric and bluffing to get its way.
Be sure the MSM will help Biden to intensify the media war.

The idea of a concerted bipartisan approach to contain China is absurd. Sure, both the Democrats and the Republicans want to contain China, but that doesn’t mean that they agree to the same approach and may in fact hinder each other with conflicting policies.
Biden can either win Russia’s support by conceding all of Eastern Europe, driving it into the arms of China or can drive Russia into the arms of China. Believing that something as trivial as approving the Nordstrom’s pipeline can distract the Russians from NATO pressure is childish at best and stupidly naive at worst. Putin is not some gullible American Indian who could be tricked into giving massive concessions by offerings of beads and trinkets.
I imagine both countries have already agree on areas they will welcome open competition (south america) and some of the no-go zones like ukraine, syria, taiwan, scs etc
