This interesting. In Malaysia, the public backlash for Astra Zeneca vaccines was intense enough to get the government to remove them from the mainstream vaccination programme. Must be caused by that bloodclotting controversy. Whether this is scientifically justified remains to be seen.

But Sinovac is still in the mainstream vaccination program. It too had suffered public backlash. But, maybe despite not as intense as the one for Astra Zeneca.

Furthermore in Malaysia, Sinovac have signed a 'fit and finish' program with a local pharma producer. Which means that the Malaysian pharma producer will do the bottling and packaging of Sinovac vaccines in Malaysia.

So it looks like all that badmouthing of Chinese vaccines by the West and friends is not working as planned.

Probably this is the reason mate.

Rule no1 on exports: always have a local partner, so that when(not if) you run into trouble there, they will bail you out lol

India is better prepared mentally and physically this year with more experience to beat the COVID-19 pandemic as compared to 2020, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said on Tuesday.
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

This Union Health Minister is part of the Modi gang. They are still living in their own fantasy. Who needs enemies to destroy India when you have leaders like Modi and gang.

Coronavirus Vaccine "consumption" and export.

China has exported nearly 110 million doses.
India exported nearly 60 million doses.
EU exported nearly 50 million doses.
US didn't export anything

(well they promised they'd be sending some stashed Astrazeneca to India after backdoor exchange with the Indian foreign diplomats).

But as always, the majority who votes in India are sold the Jai Hind b.s. and sadly they seem to keep falling for it time and time again. The liberals in China and the demoncrazy advocates ought to look at their erstwhile neighbor and thank their lucky stars that China isn't a democracy or led by incompetent buffoons.
That's why, Wen Jiabao's
Sensitive Sensitive!

Meeting was Legit... The lovely clear white on blue display in English, that's the trolling....

Watch this video because not only it's educational in terms of how patient and understanding Dr.Kim was to the badgering British-Indian journalist, not to mention pathetic in how he was imploring the good Doctor to act as intermediary for India to beg China for help lol..But also, gives anyone with a clear eyed view how clueless some Indian elites are to the level of progress China has achieved especially when it comes to the handling of the pandemic and also the advances it made with respect to vaccine tech area which Jai Hind wishes they have at their disposal.

Didn't really want to weigh in on the India Situation, but watched this yesterday

,

just check out the who's who in the background banner @26 secs, basically all of India's neighbours!

I guess that's the 'diplomatic' way of trolling Modi :)

Watched this earlier

Some crazy woman spouting crap about India's reputation, seriously, people are literally dying in the streets of Delhi and they're worried about the reputation of the country, newsflash, no one thought much of India before covid-19 and they won't think much worse of it after!

It just sums up what it means to be 'Indian', needlessly worried about geopolitics, keeping up with the joneses and for what, so your people can die! Well India is so fond of making up ridiculous superlatives, 'Most cost efficient space program' etc, they can now add 'India country with the fastest rising caseload in the Covid-19 pandemic'

Hope its worth it!

Whatever good or bad you may think of the CPC (that's its proper title refuse to use that American CCP BS), they don't let their people die needlessly!

Even if you're the 'enemy'!

The Indian government has been doing this for decades. From the military perspective, I remember way back, the "Jai Hinds" (some posters actually used the phrase in their usernames), would brag about their CV Viraat, while PLA had nothing. They also brag about how Su-30MKI had Bars, TVC and Canards, while MKK was quite basic. LCA would wipe the floor of FC-1 (LCA was ahead of JF-17 at the time, already had first flight).

Pro-China posters could only counter that the government is putting the economy ahead of the military, and the payoff will be in the future. This kind of response was dismissed as "propaganda" or met with "When? 100 years from now?".

So again, this is not to sound like dumping on India as a whole, but this is the consequence of the choices made by the government.

I keep seeing that BS EU vaccine export figure being plaster everywhere to make the EU look like it is behaving like a responsible power, but if look at the details, you will see over half of those exported vaccines went to other rich western nations, with the UK alone being far and away the biggest benefactor, accounting for over 20% of the total ‘exports’.
