I can see that you are playing dumb here. What mistake that you are talking about ? China invest everywhere as it has go lots of US dollars, but Aussie want to decouple.

There will be setback, but there will also be repercussions as lines are drawn. If you proven to be unreliable and anti-China, you can say goodbye to any future Chinese investments and cooperation. In case of Australia, it means losing exports, tourism and education markets of world's biggest middle class. Do you really think that China should use military force to enforce a commercial contract?
No, they shouldn't enforce the contract by force. As for the rest you know what a Anti China Australian has to say to that. However I do know several parents who are more hopeful that their child can get into Monash Medical school now that they think Chinese students won't be there. I get the impression that missing out on gaining entrance to med school because of foreign intake creates more resentment than other fields of study.

Speaking as a taiwanese living in Australia, you can tell those parents that they've gotten sucked up into the anglo west propaganda/marketing re Australian schools.
The Australian medical system, just like the american medical system operates like they're fighting a race war against Asians- what you saw in america with the Ivy League admissions scandal is exactly the same here in Australia.

Can someone explain why the EU is so bipolar on China?

Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
a high-level internal report seen by POLITICO shows the EU is now increasingly pessimistic about keeping business interests separate from political concerns over what it calls President Xi Jinping's "authoritarian shift.
OK, "authoritanian shift" is usually a dog-whistle for another real reason

The EU's "progress report" on China also slams Beijing for "little progress" on economic promises made by the Communist leadership
Guys I think I found the real reason...

The EU's "progress report" on China also slams Beijing for "little progress" on economic promises made by the Communist leadership, particularly in regard to opening up digital
Lmao does the EU think that China will have its tech foundations based on the EU tech lol. Did they miss the whole US sanctions thing where China was backstabbed by the US. Why does the EU think that China will allow this to happen again? Delusional

and agricultural market
And does the EU think that China will abandon its farmers for the EU's farmers? I am sure they can strike a deal to accommodate both interests as China is a huge country and it needs a lot of different food. But China wont let the EU control its agricultural market. Plus better to get some food from Russia than to abandon it for the EU. Russia must be tied at China's camp at all costs so if that means less EU agricultural sales to China, then so be it.

addressing steel overcapacity
Steel mills employ millions(?) of people. There is no way that China will suddenly close them down and have these people become poor. China has already taken some small steps and it is gradually closing down some of these old, inefficient and pulluting mills. This will happen but it will take some time

and reining in industrial subsidies
Yeah sure. No way buddy. China can stop the subsidies if the EU starts technology transfers so that China wont need to reinvent the wheel because it is blocked from acquiring external advanced IP. Until that happens China will shower its industries with money until they become advanced and then start taking over the world. Maybe the EU wants to have a competition to see who has more money for subsidies, EU or China?...

"The EU has clear interests at stake when it comes to peace and stability in the South China Sea
What interests does the EU have on the other side of the planet in the South China Sea? I am sure the EU is taken very seriously on the region...

The recent rise in tensions across the Taiwan Strait should be closely followed."
The EU should go and take a hike. If the US cannot dictate to China how it handles the Taiwan issue, what qualification does the EU have to warn China?

If the world's superpower is running scared in Taiwan, how will the dysfunctional, 0 navy, bureaucratic EU wanna-be-superpower deter China from taking action on Taiwan?

They should better sit down, solve their migrant problem, relations with Turkey, Russia, and stop being a US puppet, before they try to sit at the big boys table

Guys I just received this on WhatsApp. It's horrific video showing a man getting back to death. Accounting to the caption below. It's a Chinese man in California being killed by blacks and whites alike. Can anyone confirm this?

Because the EU is an extremely diverse political bloc with a lot of US puppets. Baltics and the northern European countries are US vassals. But currently, the EU can never become anti-China because Italy, Spain, Germany and France have zero interest in that. These countries may do some symbolic gestures but that's all. But it will also never become pro-China. China should never see the EU as anything other than a potential market.

Lieutenant General
This leads to another question, where have they all gone? They couldnt just vanish can they?

@AssassinsMace

Come on Macy, you can't keep us in suspense like this. Please tell us what are you thinking. It's intriguing.
No suspense needed. I was pointing to the low bar the US uses to accuse China of genocide, it can easily be turn on them. Christians are guilty of what they accuse China. You want to discredit the US and Christianity which are what's behind the US's anti-China policies, you use their own logic against them.

Then if this is really true? Why is the U.S. military cowering in fear of it's potential battle with China? American military leadership and America in general has never learned from their Roman ancestors penchant for underestimating enemies or not respecting the will of the enemy to fight. Their so called diplomacy is basically this: do what we say or else just like how the Romans did. For all their supposed reading of military strategies from Clausewitz to Sun Tzu, none of them have actually taken it's time tested lessons both to heart and mind.

As Sun Tzu said: Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.” Time and time again as Sun Tzu advised: "All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near." Lastly, to make my point, again I am going to quote the timeless military strategist: "Victorious warriors WIN FIRST and THEN GO TO WAR, while DEFEATED WARRIORS go to war first and then seek to win."
Perhaps America is stronger than they appear.
