Good. About time China stop playing and finally decided to secure the SCS. If US wants to contain China, then tough luck the rest of the countries on the region will have to suffer.

So time to build all the islands possible, station military systems, naval bases, airfields, radars etc to control the nearby seas there

I am starting to think that China may be helping Russia right now.

As you probably know, there is an alarming rise in tensions in the Ukraine. The Americans have been supplying weapons to Ukraine, and the Ukrainians appear to be preparing for war. Russia may be on high alert.

So China reminds the US rulers that there is more for them to worry about than just the Ukraine. The kerfluffle near the Philippines with 200 Chinese fishing boats, and the flight of mainland warplanes near Taiwan -- these could be China redirecting at least some US pressure from the Russians.

Ever since this guy took over the Los Angeles Times, it's turned more to the right. It's typical that when you see an Asian journalist most likely they'll report only negative news about Asians because they're forced to by editors or they choose it themselves to show whites how they're not loyal they're not loyal to their ethnicity or ancestral country. This guy took over a newspaper and he let in more notorious right-wing columnists and of course anti-China give their voice.

The media has actually contributed to anti-Asian violence. That's the only source for how Americans view China which is why there are attacks. Now that anti-Asian violence is being reported on the news, you see stories of anti-Asian history in the US like people didn't know. And that's because the media has been guilty of contributing and hiding it. It's not just whites attacking Asians and that's because the media contributes to racial antagonism by the narrative they set and it certainly isn't peace. So when the media contributes to anti-Chinese propaganda and Americans don't see a difference between Asians and nationality, who's responsible and to be blamed?

After all when China attempts to get Taowan, it will need Russia to disract the West by steering trouble on Eastern Europe or Japan.

So Russia will want compensation, so China is now doing this to distract the West from Russia.

Thats a valid theory but it is still too early to draw conclusions. We will see

Can anyone explain the link between these Maoist rebels and Maoism in greater detail?

The Maoist adheres to Mao's "Village to surround cities and guerrilla warfare" tactic in their effort. Of course Maoism is a further development (relying on farmers than industrial workers) of Leninism which calls for establishing socialist state by violent revolution. Whether the goal of Maoist rebels in India is to establish a socialist state anywhere is unknown. Considering replacing the current Indian state or breaking away a piece of India for a socialist state are all unrealistic, the rebels may be trying something like the Nepalese Maoist has done by forcing the Indian government to implement some demands of the rebels such as land reform, proactive abolishing caste system and autonomous rule in rebels strong area.

What idiot claims that Han Chinese started it? Did you know that some of the Han Chinese who killed Uighurs in self defense were actually sentenced to death after the incident while most of the Uighurs didn’t get similar treatment?

Either way information is hard to find. Chinese government censored a lot of images and videos to avoid stoking ethnic tension?

I remember officially there were around ten people sentenced to death after the riot. One of them was a Han who killed Uighur the next day after the riot has been put down. The rest were all Uighur rioters.

True. But the scenarios are different. Anyone who had to kill in self-defense shouldn't be sentenced to death!

That only Han was not in self defense. He went on revenge the next day after the riot has been put down, and he killed some Uighur who was not attacking anybody at that moment. It is only self-defense if the threat is present and immediate.

@Kaeshmiri I always got that impression a lot from my Filipino clients and friends, being into travel business, usually I always try to advertise China as a cheaper alternative to SK and Japan, There is always bias and reluctance but due to price and my marketing skills they tried and boy are they SHOCK and happy!!!! since it is a package tour their only complain is that their wallet hasn't thin out cause its so cheap and they enjoy shopping a lot...LOL

@Crang bro good day, Yes what you had posted is true before Duterte is elected, we are the prime target of extortion and kidnap for ransom especially when election is near. Most of the perpetrators are the police itself with collusion from politician who use their power and authority to amass illegal wealth. We are on the brink to follow Columbia and Mexico as a narco state. Due to that we are the most ardent supporter of Duterte cause he clean up the bureaucracy and the inertia it created. The first thing he did is to raise the salary of the security forces 100% of their former salary. In an instance eliminating corruption while weeding out corrupt official and he killed local and gov't official involved in nefarious activity that is why he is called the punisher. He knew our justice system can be bought and the only way to eliminate this bad elements is to killed them. And it had a residual effect the FEAR of the consequences an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, may sound barbaric but the immediate effect is clear to be seen, we had won our street back from the criminals and we are afraid no more and we have our freedom back. Foreigners don't understand that democracy is useless if your safety is not assured. That is why the human rights accusation against China doesn't fly, people living inside had freedom of movement while people in the west had fear.

Tell me this person's experience is not a representative of the experience most Asian males go through in the western world (5 eyes countries and Europe). Yet us Chinese/Asians are labeled as uncouth and barbaric according to these hypocritical barbarians. I have yet to read an attack (am not hoping for nor wishing for any other people to be senselessly attack) on white people by Chinese people in China despite the vile portrayals of China and Chinese people in the western media.
