@ougoah Do you think the era of American software dominance will come to an end? or there will be a 2 system, I hoping HW Harmony OS will be as good as the Apple OS.

Harmony OS is still being developed. Current available releases of a preliminary version for commercial smartphone/computers use Android. The actual Harmony OS will definitely be used by Chinese market and infrastructure since it is supposed to be intended for fully integrated internet of things cities, designed as a microkernel system from the beginning.

American software dominance in the western world probably isn't going away in our lifetimes unless the US starts banning migrants who make up a lot of their software industry. Same thing applies to talented post grad students who go there and end up working and living there. AI is a particularly obvious example. US AI industry is like their maths olympiad team every year - East Asians, Jews, South Asians, and some Europeans usually eastern ones... this actually applies to their entire tech sector since project paperclip. The last truly impressive generation of capable "American" Americans were gone after the space race. Of course there are plenty still around but destabilising their brain sucking appeal may erode their tech lead even faster.

By proportion of population, white "American" Americans make up a very small relative proportion of their tech industries. Even back in the day it was the German (often dedicated Nazi) scientists, then the Soviet bloc ones and definitely after the fall of USSR. Then migrants from east and south Asia. It was all started by the Jews since splitting the atom and still dominated by Jews.

It is still far far away. First stage of conceptual design report was completed. The second stage of.completing the technical design report is to be completed in 2022. And in 2022 construction will start, and it will be finished by 2030.
This project is massive in scope and thats why it will take so long, but for the Chinese and international Physics academia it will be an indisputable part for conducting more in-depth research

China's energy plan for the next five years:
1615684128943.png

Thoughts:
1. China is finally moving toward large scale construction of off-shore wind farms.
2. Coal power plants will be moved near coal mines. I'm impressed they managed to deal with local oppositions. China's industrial provinces traditionally preferred to import coal and generate power in-province rather than importing energy, because fire power plants boost local GDP and employment. Ultra-supercritical power plants near coal mines + ultra-high-voltage electricity transmission is easily more efficient.
3. Finally Guangdong's power grid is going to be connected to Fujian's. People might not know this, but Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou and Hainan run on a separate power grid from the rest of China. A bit like Texas.
4. It's not on the map, but the five-year plan puts special emphasis on the development of Very High Temperature Gas-cooled Reactor. Chinese progress on VHTR is further than fast breeders and molten salt, and VHTR with electricity/hydrogen cogeneration can be a replacement for coal power as a complement to intermittent renewables.

Aww yeah, the beginning of the Eurasia HDVC Supergrid

I think it is a bit premature though. In a decade it is likely that ballistic conductors made with carbon nanotubes will be available for HVDC lines and make something like that a lot cheaper to build. Still, they need to remove air pollution from the main cities, so putting the coal power plants further away from the city core makes sense.

Google translate:

China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) officially approved the original Chinese drug-UTIDI (Utidelone) is used for the treatment of recurrent and metastatic advanced breast cancer. As an epothilone anti-tumor drug, the approval of Utidelone has broken the “bottleneck” in the treatment of advanced breast cancer in China for a long time, and ended the situation that China had no breakthrough chemotherapy drugs other than paclitaxel in the past three decades.

The results of a prospective, multi-center phase III clinical study showed that compared with capecitabine monotherapy for advanced breast cancer patients who had previously used anthracyclines and taxanes, those received Utidelone combined with capecitabine the overall survival period of the patients was significantly extended from 15.7 months to 20.9 months, and the risk of death was reduced by 31%; the progression-free survival period of patients was significantly extended from 4.11 months to 8.57 months, and the risk of disease progression was reduced by 54%; the remission rate was reduced from 26.7% increased to 49.8%, a significant increase of nearly double. This curative effect is a new breakthrough in the field of breast cancer chemotherapy in the past 30 years.

Do you have a source for VHTR? Thanks in advance.

Did you get your feelings hurt? Because the term untrustworthy is perfectly normal to describe a business partner who fails to fulfill his obligations and is a warning just short of a ban to Chinese companies that want to rely on American technology.

The Anglos are hypocrites in demanding compliance to rule of law. They change rules on a whim for no reason other than arrogance and contempt.
