That's interesting to me. I assumed they would be standardizing to HJ-10s as the main ATGM for their combined arms units, across the tracked and various wheeled chassis'.
If this is a new ImIR guided ATGM and meant to be internally carried inside the WZ550 chassis, I assume it must be quite a bit smaller than the HJ-10. I wonder if it has a fibre optic like HJ-10 or if it is without a fibre optic, if it's the latter presumably it is a fair bit shorter ranged.
Nothing wrong with that of course; an ImIR ATGM with shorter range (say, 2.5-5km) and lighter footprint has its role to complement the heavier HJ-10, but I wonder why they put it on the WZ550 chassis... I'm not even sure if the WZ500 is still in production

One minor correction. The original Weibo poser – who is very credible – was vague in his description. Upon further review of his short blurb about the image, I think it's entirely possible that each WZ550 packs eight ready-to-fire missiles (four on each side of the telescoping platform).
