If you turn the corner into an RPG 20m away in a building, even if you locate the shooter its probably too late. I don't see how it solves the fundamental issue of tanks being big and loud and infantry always having the first shot.
But with that kind of system, the shooter will not have the luxury to shot a second one... it take out sniper that break your sensors and equipments with heavy rifles. It's way better than to find them visually.

Main battle tank are still made to destroy other tanks, it's why they bring support vehicule with them usually. But having that kind of system help a lot.

Where is an unmanned turret hinted? As for 2 man crew, who would operate the weapon station in urban warfare?
See those 2 vision block / hatches at the front of the vehicle?

It looks very much like an Armata-esque design.

China really doesn't have any land-border threats, even the threat of land war in Korean peninsula has significantly reduced. Is that really wise to invest in a new platform? Then again, it can be argued it's neccessary given Russian developing the new T-14 Armata, so I guess China should develop one to keep pace, albeit at slower rate.
Yes, to keep pace, but also to develop a common platform.

I would not be surprised if this is the common chassis for all land based armor track platforms, sharing a universal power unit and transmission, databus/slipring and other commonalities much like car maker does these days.

Also, it should have some adaptability for UAV or UGV command & control.

This vision has been around since FCS back in 2008.

Why not?

I used to command Abrams, nothing on this design really contrast or contradict viable operations.
The oversized mantlet looks to be severely limiting vertical angle, if not straight up fused with turret lol.
