Isn't the inside of the J-31 body smaller than the F-35? As far as I know, it can carry 4 Air-Air Missiles. Will the interior of the hull be enlarged in the new J-31/35?

I don’t think that will happen unless WS-19 is ready.

If the j-31 is seen has a light air-superiority fighter, shooting 4 AA missiles on target could be enough... rarely you will have more targets or stay long enough in a fight to shot more.

If the aircraft have enough fuel and can loiter, more missiles could be interesting. But in that case, if you can loiter arround waiting for targets, you have already air superiority and you don't need stealth anymore...you just put more under the wings.

I don't think so .. from behind the FC-31's stabs look also quite separated

Are you serious? I don't think you know what a Su-57 looks like. If you had known, you would have certainly noticed the size of the vertical stabilizers in the image is way bigger than those on the Su-57, which are tiny by comparison due to their being all-moving.

Not to mention the shapes are completely different as well.

By the way and I'm sure you all know my impatience, but are there any guesses and estimates on WHEN we can expect the J-35 prototype to be unveiled?
