That's why these buggers are known to be masters are spinning.

How does one develop herd immunity to a virus that is constantly mutating? Given that a flu vaccine provides protection for 6 months, what can we realistically expect from a covid vaccine?

It could be because the COVID virus mutates much more slowly. Or it could be that there are other parts of the virus that mutate much more slowly or don't at all.

This is strange. We recently had a woman who returned from Europe in a little over 3weeks ago. During a period of 14 days of isolation, she returned a negative test for covid twice. During the next few days, she spent days and hours visiting heaps of shops and cafes and bars and supposedly intimate with her husband as well as associating very closely for hours on end with her friends. On the day3 of her release, she began to feel unwell and a couple of days later she tested positive for the South African covid strain, and yet none of her friends or any members of the public that were in the same bars/cafes she visited have returned a positive test.
The incubation period is typically from 2 to 28 days (some people have even longer incubation period), with an average of 14 days. So it’s absolutely normal to have someone with a much longer incubation period.

The current protocol for obtaining patient samples is to get deep into their noses. It’s very uncomfortable. Many nurses are not doing it properly because they don’t want to hurt their patients. That’s why we are getting many false negatives.

It might take some time for the virus inside to accumulate enough numbers for the test to detect. If she is showing symptoms now, some of her friends might just got infected not too long ago. Their viral load might still be too low to be detected. They need to continue to monitor the situation closely and continue to test these people. If I were you and I knew any of them, I would not go and visit them now. I suspect some of them might begin to get positive results in the next few days or even weeks.

Here is the comment
EU is suffering vaccine shortage due to AntraZeneca production delays, but apparently Turkey is not. I guess not being a part of EU has it's advantage.

It's relentless, the BBC, British government mouthpiece hatch job on China. Just this minute got off watching BBC news report on their lunch time news (extended for tonight)

The headlines from the anchor

'When did China knew and how much did they knew'.

Everything there screams out guilty before it even aired.

China also has a DNA COVID-19 vaccine in development. Similar to the mRNA vaccines, DNA vaccines are also genetically based.

I'm not sure if the above-mentioned Chinese DNA vaccine is the same as the one described below (INO-4800)... It's the same Chinese company in Sichuan... But this DNA vaccine is a collaboration between a Pennsylvanian company and the Chinese company.
