This is what they should force ALL THE HONGKONG STUDENT at the beginning of semester to pledge allegiance to China like what Nankai student in Tianjin do every year at the beginning of semester answering to these question Are you chinese? Do you love China? Do you want to see China great again?
The story of Zhang Bolin who founded the Nankai university He was at hand when China has to cede Liadong peninsula to the British. Hear broken he resign and conclude that only thru education can China be revive. He then went to study in Japan and went back to found the Nankai university Latter his son volunteer to become pilot and fight the Japanese He died in the air battle and movingly he said I give my son to the nation
Nankai is one of the best university in China on the same level like Jiaodong, Fudan and Beida

China's renowned Nankai University has a history stretching back 100 years. In its early days, it served as a major platform for fostering patriotism and resisting Japanese aggression. Today, the Nankai spirit is still remembered by many, including Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Same with me and maybe with all other Hua Qiao in the SEA region, during my high school days at PCHS (Philippine Cultural High School now Philippine Cultural College) a bilingual school catering for Hua Qiao like me, I transfer there after being expelled in a private catholic school SJCS (St Jude Catholic school an elite school run by Jesuit) and from them I learned to appreciate my Chineseness and how to become a Chinese. The swearing is almost the same with local twist 1)are you a Hua Qiao? 2) you should uphold the dignity of our culture! 3)be a contributor to your adopted country, 4) help make your adopted country proud of you. My high school had a checkered history cause most of its student are part of the resistance against Japan during WW2 and was burn to the ground during the Japanese occupation. And yet their exploits were never been acknowledged and even mention cause they are Chinese.

LOL what happened? You were too popular with the girls?
@Crang

1) I'm not religious enough ;) 2) being chastised for being poor. My parents want the best for us so enrolling in a prestigious school is a way of giving us a head start. But it is hard to mingle and to be part of the crowd if you had nothing to show for. an example school dress code specify us to wear a leather black shoe which is expensive, I had to wear a rubber shoes colored by a black pen by my mother cause we can't afford one, naturally I was scolded and punished by squatting at the corridor for 1 month until I forced my mom to buy literally crying for it. That traumatic experience convinced myself that I don't belong to that school and had to fight, and fight I did defending myself against a big rich kid ( rich kid can't fight even though he is older than me but he is good screamer) during my graduation year (at that time 6th grade) . I also learned that RELIGION is a shitty concept design for the elite to rule us, that expulsion is life changing event for me after that I don't bother attending church anymore and become an atheist.

When I first saw the news that the traitor 'long hair is going to married his girlfriend. My first thought was: who's going to married this ugly bugger? Then I saw this photo, and I thought he's not getting married to his girlfriend! He's marrying his sister!

God, why are the so damn ugly!

You mean his mom? She is older than him for sure, like 60+. If not mom first cousins, they look practically like clones.
