Huh? Isn't that a picture of Vikrant? What do those have to do with the runways on Vikramaditya?
The image @HaldilalSDF uploaded shows both carriers with their respective elevator locations... Vikramaditya on the left and Vikrant on the right... I think he means the Vikramaditya has an elevator pretty much in the middle of the flight deck... so one of the take off points is in the middle of flight deck due to that elevator’s position...

You know before your reply I literally didn't see vikramaditya on the left of that photo, oops. But I still don't super understand what elevator position has to do with launch positions...

The first elevator comes where the first take offs point starts. As INS Vikramaditya itdswas originally laid as a Heavy Aircraft Cruiser with different Role, Layout, and aircrafts. It's carried forward many traits. Even the Superstructure in pretty much inside the deck. If you extend the take off point then hardly any space would be left. Thats why the layout of the Virat is much better than the Vikramaditya.
