HONG KONG, Dec 11 — A Hong Kong teenager was found guilty today of insulting China's national flag and unlawful assembly as Beijing accelerates its crackdown on dissent and the city's pro-democracy movement.
Pro-Beijing authorities have increasingly targeted the most prominent activists in the finance hub, including young leaders such as Joshua Wong and Agnes Chow, who were jailed last week.
Tony Chung, a 19-year-old who led a now-disbanded pro-democracy group, was convicted for throwing the Chinese flag to the ground during scuffles outside Hong Kong's legislature in May 2019.

Hi Gatekeeper,

It's me or they all look alike, this fellow had the same facial feature with Joshua Wong and I thought they're one of the same.

They are trying hard to twist and change the narrative. Trying to write history to make them look good. Therefore, efforts must be made to expose the truth. Studying history from the west should be taken with gigantic grain of salt.

I've been fooled for so long by western media about TianAnMen square, last year chaos in HK had opened my eyes.

Never again!

This is it. There propaganda media is very very strong, and subtle. It's a drip drip effect. It's like the BBC keeps on telling us (yes they actually do tell us) they are proud of their tradition of impartiality.

But they are a publicaly funded organisation just like Global times. Yet they keep remind the readers at every turn that Global times are the CCP mouth piece. But some how the BBC is not the British governments mouthpiece. (Very crafty).

So this goes on throughout most people's lives, and they don't noticed it. They will accept everything the BBC reported. It is only in recent times (In the past 10 years or so) where cameras are everywhere. And people started to records stuff on their phones. That their jobs of manipulating the news becomes that much harder, and we, the few independent minded people, choose to tune in to the alternative to see there's another point of view out there.

Like the Hong Kong, and Ukraine before it. The narratives was always "peaceful demonstration", or if footage emerge where violence occurs then the narratives was it must be provokes by the police.

Compare the "violence" dished out by the police of the recent riots in the US and elsewhere in Europe. And look how that is reported. I give you an example. In Hong Kong they always open with the headlines "Hong Kong police fire tear gas". But never start that headlines in the US.

Also, look at how many death and injuries in the shorter time span of their riots compares to Hong Kong's year long riots. Yet somehow, Hong Kong police is the more brutal of the two. So much so Armnisty International (another western organisation) is only investigating Hong Kong police and not the US police!

So yes, I'm pleased that you have seen the reporting from the west is not the..... lets be kind, the complete article. But problem is, the majority of people is not going to fact check their version. They don't even bothered to read beyond the headlines.

Then you get the other kind of people, like some members here, who through hatred, simply refuses to believe what we posted. (I've never seen them apologizing on any wrong doing by the thugs in Hong Kong. The killings and the burning of people, not a peep. If it's as though it never happened). They are so blinded by their hatred, they lost touch with all reality.

I was just thinking that, it is as though they are a template for all traitors. They all look very similar and very very ugly. I supposed this is what they do to get notice in a world of beautiful people. ;) :p:p
