Now they gonna say Chinese men are misogynists

"Bitch" is too crass i would agree. Should've crafted a better response.

Maybe another "fake photo"
twitter was set up in coordination with US intel for the purposes of advancing US hegemony, soft power, information warfare, what have you...

The balancing act is allowing twitter to be open and inclusive enough to draw in the international community to get the world on board... but not so open that the tables could ever be truly turned against the US even if it were to go rogue... in essence a tool that would allow America to shape the narrative controls and always have the upper hand...

its a losing situation for China to get too drawn into this because say one day the tide begins to turn and hypothetically worldwide sentiment is more favorable to China, there is zero chance the US gov would allow twitter to amplify a net positive message of China to the world and at flip of a switch all Chinese or proChinese accounts, voices, viewpoints would get silenced, banned, disappeared...

As long as America controls the platform it always has that trump card up its sleevs and its not shy about the nuclear option of outright delete/ban of all Chinese accounts everywhere...

In gambling they say the house always wins... on twitter, its America's platform and push comes to shove if Chinese gov officials start speaking truth to power, the T rug gets pulled under their feet.... despite Mr T saying it would never happen

Like Cleveland brown says, being colored you can't win, you just do a little better each generation.

Meng's lawyers should the details of this negotiation and use it as evidence of the political nature of this extradition request.

Honestly, I kinda see this as a boobytrap, which later will be used against her and/or Huawei. By admitting "some wrongdoings" sounds fishy.

Personally, i suspect it's the IPs Huawei owns, also big sum of money are their target. Same thing with Alstom case.

Ren should do the right thing, no negotation, no admitting of anything. Its unfornate and unfair, but he may have to Sacrifice Meng

Ren is a hero, i want to see a biopic on the man, directed by Wu Jing.

Anyway, it looks like the anglos know they're going to lose the case, even rigged in their own courts so are touting the idea of a settlement so they can claim that Meng "admitted to crimes".

Naturally, this will not stand, esp. since China is not beholden to US laws; rather, i say, up the ante, start by arresting Mike Pompeo's son or Trump's daughter ivanka for fraud or something equally damning.

What's highly interesting is that none of the mainstream outlets like BBC, CNN or NYTimes picked up the article. Only Fox News did, and by saying a Chinese reporter called an American senator a b*tch. Clearly the CIA is instructing media outlets to withhold publishing, because obviously this incident is going to cause severe damage to reputation. Although these mainstream outlets immediately jumped at the Australia 'fake image' controversy and of course laid the blame on China for worsening relationship with Australia by releasing a fake image.
