She speaks very good Japanese so its not just a blind monkey-see monkey-do. Japan is still a democracy and so those common values will leave an impression.

So speak Japanese. So what? Are you saying she knows better than us because she can speak Japanese?

For you infomation. Japan is not a democratic country. You can't elect your head of state! (Please spare me the no power crap).

I watched that movie when I was tasked to take my nieces out for a birthday treat years years ago. I would have enjoyed it more had it not been a musical.

I think everyone is talking about the recent live action one. I thought it was okay, story was kinda too short though. But then again, i am used to watching overly long c/k-dramas.

I don't think it got released anywhere because of Covid. It went straight onto Netflix, etc in most countries.

But surly, even if it didn't get released in NZ. You must have heard all the commotion around it? With actors and the West claiming all sorts

It was sorta related to the hk protest since the lead actress posted that she supported HKPF, hence all the protesters/roach/'woke-libs' were calling for a boycott. Oddy, Donnie Yen came out say he supports China/Xi but he didn't receive as much media/roach backlash

So in your opinion the UK and all other ex Commonwealth countries like NZ Australia and Canada where the Queen is the head of state are not democracies either.

cubed.

All of them living in China, and who can barely cobble enough English words (which are all terribly pronounced) together to form basic sentences, yet choose to use English names. Pathetic self-hating racist Caucasian-wannabes all of them.

The only reason they are prominently promoted by the western MSM is because they are more then willing to work with and for hostile foreign powers to undermine Chinese interests. Classic definition for traitors.

To be honest, rather than subversion, they should be tried for treason.

I don’t think this is an appropriate comparison since Qin Hui was highly literate and known for beautiful calligraphy whereas Josh’s hand writing is...

Mulan is an all Chinese cultural hero. She knows honours, duty and respect. None of these is attributes the traitor Chow posses.

Notice the cowardly western MSM hides behind weedy words like "some in Hong Kong" are saying she is Mulan. Weasel words. They, the MSM wanted to put her on the pedestals. But trying to do it without being accused of trolling.

China should take a leaf out of this play in the future. There's always Joan of Arc. Bodica. Hell, even the statue of liberty is fair game.

It is just playing off ignorance. To most westerners, Mulan is just a Disney character. The values you mentioned are not really a big part of it. The whole narrative/image of China is built on this.

All you have to do is visit or open a history book, but 90% of people don't do this. Just read a Tweet and become a "China Expert". It extends past China really, how many Americans could tell you who Boudica was?

In fact, there was a good video posted in another thread (Think it was Breaking World News)), the white american guy covered all the usual tropes.

As we said on here many times before. There's something about all these traitors. They all seem to be as ugly as hell.

Maybe I'm being too bias in my old age?

It's the incel theory.
These guys are ugly, so probably they are rejected all the time. Western media giving them the "dignity" they are seeking
