Its time for China so start unloading those forex reserves before it become worthless paper and buy more gold or commodities

When the US goes down as its allies' sugar daddy, that's when you'll see the truth. Americans think it's natural that everyone in the world loves them because their culture and lifestyle are so wanted. No it's all about the money. They even contradictorily admit it when the say immigrants to the US don't assimilate. They're just leaching money hence why there are anti-immigrant sentiments in US politics. I imagine Western allies will stick with the US as long as they can, but it's something that can't be bounced back that easily to where it was before. The world is going to be looking for more prosperous roads to make money if it's not the US and the geopolitical ramifications will be epic.

Apparently in some upcoming trade agreement between the US and Taiwan, Taiwan has to allow US pork into Taiwan and Taiwanese are protesting against it because US pork produces have a substance banned in Europe introduced into their pigs.

There's an Asian supermarket chain called Ranch 99 run by Taiwanese you can find in California. The one nearest to where I live was caught delivering slaughtered pig carcasses in unrefrigerated trucks.

Speaking of Asian supermarkets, the H Mart somehow charges more for chicken, pork and beef than friggin Whole Foods, of all places.

I can't remember how much the Ranch 99 here charges for meat.

H Mart is one of the very few grocers that actually sell tuna belly (Otoro).

They used to sell it at their Tuna "Show", but these days, these flash frozen fillets can be found in the frozen section.

It is a rare treat that I pick up once upon a while.

H Mart definitely has an unbeatable supermarket sushi/sashimi selection (their only real competition here in America, IMO, is Mitsuwa).
