There's no need for China to target tourism or education specifically.

Australia has already done that job by banning Chinese students and Chinese tourists from entering Australia.

That won't be forgotten by future potential students and tourists.

I am in favor of the Australian government being stomped out of existence eventually since they are useless and a bunch of USA suck ups that seem to care more about pleasing the USA then the Australian citizen.this hopefully will let people like Daniel Andrew’s to lead Australia to a better future (given that he signed Victoria up with the belt and road). It will take time but once the USA goes down, Australia will be forced to confront there flaws or end up being crushed by it. The sooner the age of the west goes away, the better the world will be going forward

The proper question should have been "did the Hawaiians (excluding the American settlers) ask for their Kingdom to be overthrown and then annexed by American settlers and its few Hawaiian conspirators?".

I considered the American annexation and weighed it against the general belief that most of the population of Hawaii agree to become part of the US in 1959.

But by 1959, the assimilation is all but over. It would be 100 years since the dethrone of the Hawaiian king. And lots of white settlers moved in and out numbered the indigenous population. Any voting would be unfair.

Racist pricks down under let their hate of the Chinese and the CCP overwhelm news of their government's handling of the pandemic... At least that's the sentiment in the flying community, I still regularly see/read expat Australian pilots in Hong Kong referring to COVID as the China virus

Im pretty sure the white settlers in Hawaii were never the dominant group. I think the Asians were the dominant group leading up to Hawaiian statehood.

I would pay the blame on the Morrison government actively pushing for reopening and the Morrison government getting on Daniel Andrew case for being the one to sign the state up with the belt and road initiative. Also to note that the hotel cases that started this is beyond his control. Scott Morrison is the one to continue bombarding him with negative press in regards to the corona and making life hard for victorians by not doing much help except be a Trump fan boy . Hence because Daniel Andrew’s did everything he could to combat the virus and for the moment won the day (and making Victorians dislike the prime minister In The process of being an utter cunt). Hence his popularity is well deserved. Also which that Morrison gets his soon cause he is an annoying little shit that is useless during the bush fires and now during covid where the state governments are the ones to handle the majority of the mess, not him

Yes you're right. Asian make up the biggest ethnic group follow by whites. But the point I was making is that the non-indigenous groups out numbered the indigenous group. So any vote for independence is meaningless.

I think the Australian broadcaster Murray Olds is quite condemning of Andrews's performance. using untrained security personnel who made a mess of things instead of the police to guard/monitor the hotels used for isolation of incoming migrants/immigrants.
