Yes some do. But the Americans packed the state with whites. And now they outnumbered the indigenous people. A bit like how the western MSM claimed China is doing in Xinjing. Hypocrisy at it's best.

The reason that the Trump administration and the U.S. military repeatedly contradict each other, especially over sensitive issues including Taiwan, SCS and China in general, is because one side understands the full implications of a military engagement while the other is completely clueless and ignorant.

I wouldn't be surprised if people like Pompeo and other China hawks in Trump's administration fail to understand China's current military capabilities. If you were to ask someone like Tom Cotton, he probably thinks China current military capabilities are on par with Saddam's Iraq. It seems certain members of the Trump Admin think its wise to start some kind of conflict in China's backyard for an "easy win" without understanding the consequences to the U.S.

The U.S. military on the other hand has repeatedly shut down rumors of potential U.S. military action against China, recently drone strikes in SCS. It's pretty clear that the people in charge of U.S. defense, like Mark Esper, knows the consequences of such provocative actions. It's probably the main reason why Esper got fired, because he repeatedly butted heads with idiots like Trump and Pompeo who fail to understand simple logic.

At least I will give the current U.S. civilian leadership the credit that they know China has nuclear weapons and are trying to drag China into nuclear arms control talks, unlike Herman Cain who famously claimed in 2011 that China was trying to acquire nuclear weapons.

Anyway, didn't the NATO secretary recently claim China should join nuclear arms control talks. It's quite clear to me that the West is seriously contemplating potential uses of nuclear weapons against China. The number of nuclear weapons is very simple to understand even for civilians. 2,000 nuclear warheads won't cost much to maintain, but are very effective at deterring adventurism. Indeed I would say that it's grossly irresponsible for China to have a nuclear arsenal of below 1,000 warheads because it incentivizes nuclear strikes against China and thus destabilizes the global security environment.

The West, specifically the public opinion of the West is A-OK with the use of nukes against chinese people- in fact, they have proven they are perfectly happy with using nukes against asians (Hiroshima and the lack of remorse amongst the american laity). It never really occurs to them the gravity that china might actually be able to respond to a nuclear attack in kind. The concept of dying by radioactive fire and having their national genetics destroyed by cancers and radiation doesn't register to these people any more than losing to China registers amongst people like say Mike Pompeo or any of the neocon/christian evangelists who now infest many American power structures.
As for Europe, i hazard a guess, they would wring their hands over the deaths of so many millions in the event of a nuclear exchange, but would secretly be happy that the Americans 'took care of the chinese threat so we don't have to'.

China should target Australia's service sector, espceially the tourism and education sectors as there are little reciprocal benefits. After Covid-19 passes, issue a travel warning on Australia and more importantly BAN people from sharing Australian travel photos on social media because they may encourage unsafe travel. If people couldn't show off their travel pictures, many would reconsider their travel even if they're unconcerned about the safety warning.

There's no need for China to target tourism or education specifically.

Australia has already done that job by banning Chinese students and Chinese tourists from entering Australia.

That won't be forgotten by future potential students and tourists.
