If you think about, without the pandemic and economic recession, Trump very likely would have won another victory...

It just shows that trump infused brand of republicanism is very much alive and gaining especially among Latinos immigrated from "socialist" countries.

Despite Trump appears to be losing, this election is still a nice win for the republican party. Polls got it wrong again, no blue wave. In fact, republican party is likely to maintain its majority in the senate and manage to win a few seats in the house. With the new makeup of US supreme court, Biden when elected is probably not going to be very effective. It would make things much easier for republicans again in 2024.

What the hell are you talking about? Very little is known about the virus at the beginning. Are you suggesting China purposely spread the virus?
I am not saying China purposely spreading the virus they just didn't try too hard to stop it from spreading to the world either, why do you think in the beginning China ban all travel domestically but not for Chinese leaving the country, trump himself said it also
When trump went all out in his trade war against China things like banning semiconductor sales, arresting meng wanzhou, instigating unrest in hk, did China responds in a similar manner? They could have easily arrest elon musk (they have plenty of chance in doing so) in retaliation for meng wanzhou, they could also ban rare earth export in retaliation for semiconductor/chip ban, China didnt do such things at least not yet
Maybe just maybe they didn't want to fight the enemy where they are strong, but instead choose to strike the enemy where they are weak, just as sun tzu would have done
Look at where China is now stronger than ever more united than ever, and look at where her enemies is now disorganized, divided, confused, neck deep in pandemic and recession, you are mistaken if you think only the us is capable of covert operations

I wonder who would be the front runners in 2024. I heard Pompeo and Rubio's names mentioned.

Pompeo is definitely one of the front runners. He is reaping huge amount of political capital from his tough anti-china stance.

Also one should never count Trump himself out in 2024. There is a precedent in the US history that a president (Grover Cleveland) served two non-consecutive terms.

You have it wrong, it is up to the receiving country to ban entry. Imagine the outcry if the news is "CHINA PREVENTS AMERICAN CITIZEN FROM LEAVING!!!! " IE Hong Kong stopped mainlanders from crossing.
