I wonder what kind of warhead that is; I note in the second to last image there seems to be a small parachute behind the munition that is retarding the munition.
I noticed that parachute too. The detonation and shockwave suggest a fuel-air explosive.

The explosion profile is very similar to a Thermobaric warhead. In fact almost identical to the rockets of the TOS-1 thermobaric MRLS. I guess the parachute is used to slow the rockets enough to allow optimum detonation of its Thermobaric warhead. Similar to many types of Thermobaric air-dropped bombs.

Check this video out of TOS-1 in action. Good footage of the explosions at 0:25.

Do PCL-181 and PCL-161 use the same truck just with a different gun?

Also, is PLA moving towards a more wheel based army rather than tracked? I feel like we are seeing more and more wheeled vehicles being released
