Seems like disaster season is on the way for the USA. I wonder, how much supplies and money does Trump have in stock and also are the infrastructures there ready for mother nature
Let’s be clear about one thing, this is not me celebrating the impending destruction but this is a caution to those who keep on denying climate change and doing nothing to update the infrastructure of the nation isn’t going to lead to a good conclusion though I do admit some part to be a bit comical with all the crazy things happening right now with the pandemic, economic disasters and social unrest happening at the same time, a perfect storm so to speak. Going into the election, this year isn’t going to end on a positive note for the USA

My friend's sister has a baby daddy who was a marine and former cop. This guy is a right-wing nut. Why former cop? He's so right-wing that police departments are scared to hire him especially in this era of Black Lives Matter. They just look at his Facebook page and red flags everywhere. So last night my friend's brother text messaged a picture to a group of people including me and him of this badass gaming chair that looks like your sitting on a scorpion and its tail is hanging over you where three monitors are connected hanging in front of the person sitting in the chair. It was from a Chinese company selling for $1700 each if you buy ten of them. Just because it was made in China, the baby daddy goes off on a typical anti-China right-wing rant... over a chair. He was spewing fake outrage over human rights abuses in China. Fake because of what he says on his Facebook page. If they ain't white, he could care less. So I just texted, "I can't breath." My friend's brother thought I was serious. I'm thinking, "Is he serious?" Why would I touch text message keys fifteen times to them when I could just dial "9-1-1" if it was an actual emergency? So while others were trying to figure out if this was serious, my message was loud and clear to who it was targeting. He was being passive aggressive during this because he would text comments that not being able to breath was a sign of someone abusing drugs while the others were wondering if they should call an ambulance for me. Then I let the cat out of the bag and texted. If it was an actual emergency with a smartphone in my hand, why would I bother to tell them and not call 9-1-1? Then they got what I was saying that hypocrites shouldn't be pointing the finger of human rights abuses especially from him. Then he went off on a rant trying to spin how the killing of George Floyd was justified and how BLM were communists and saying white people are killed by cops more than black people. Then I said, "Were those white people's human rights violated by police? If so then that proves my point. I didn't bring up race. You did. And without race you even admit the US abuses human rights". The discussion pretty much ended after that.

Way to go, Macy. But you might loose a friend now. Lol

US political ideology is just so incoherent these days. On the one hand these white supremacists claim US is the best country in the world, and on the other hand they claim to be oppressed by liberals and minorities!

Sometimes I feel compassion for people from the US – we are all humans after all – but later I read shit like this and I remember: the US is a country full of racist imperialist chauvinistic bloodthirsty white supremacist pieces of shit.

When the pandemic started in China they made memes and celebrated the death of thousands of Chinese; they sat on their high castle thinking they would never happen to their "superior" civilization. Later they celebrated the floods in China and the misery of those affected by them. I'm will never be like them, I won't wish calamities upon strangers, but damn, what is happening lately in the US just feels like well deserved justice.

I hope that friend is no longer your friend.

The guy is generally despised. I even heard that his daughter from another mother doesn't even like him. I was once at another friend's party and he was there. My friend's mother was there that I've known since her son and I were kids. Very friendly woman. All day you can see her talking to this guy in friendly conversation. Then towards end when people were leaving one by one, as this guy leaves and closes the door, my friend's mother ups and says, "What a goddamn bastard!" And everyone still there just bursted out laughing. And don't be fooled because he was a Marine. You think of Marines as big. The guy maybe is 5'-6". I'm taller than him and people make fun of his "small feet" behind his back. The only reason why he's around is because he's my friend's sister's baby daddy of two kids.

He's not a friend. He's my friend's sister's baby daddy. That's why he's around.

You are talking about a culture of hypocrites that killed millions of Native Americans for their land while using African slaves for centuries to develop it to be righteous? These animals are religious freaks who only tries to use to be a legit empire under the disguise of "freedom and democracy". Any threat to this status quo is unacceptable to them. As a result China is a real threat to them. They are too scare to fight China all by themselves in order to maintain their status quo, so therefore they are trying to get others to do it for them.

Two la cops shot in an ambush, well im not condoning any violence but when the police force of supposedly the "beacon of human rights" continues to kill minorities with almost impunity you can expect a payback especially in a society when everyone can buy a gun legally

Things aren't going so well in the self proclaimed "beacon of democracy and human rights" when your own police force is hated with such a passion by your own people you know that your society is rotten to the core and falling apart

Why do we need to condone or be against anything here? This is simply 2 sides to a conflict. Side A, the police have inflicted disproportionate casualties on side B, the visible minorities of America. Side B has finally conducted its first strike against Side A. Nobody ever side either Rome or Carthage was either "good" or"evil", and I certainly do not believe that the cops or protesters are "good" or "evil". This is simply a legitimate act in an armed conflit.
