Hong-Kong Protests

A post on Mr Lam's Facebook page said he was arrested "on suspicion of participating in rioting on 21 July" last year.

That day, Mr Lam and dozens of pro-democracy protesters were beaten by a gang of government supporters, some with "triad" organised crime links, in the town of Yuen Long.

Police were late to arrive on the scene and were also filmed allowing some of the armed attackers to leave, scenes that sent already swirling distrust of the force skyrocketing and helped fuel the months of protests.

I just love the new HK policing method. If the CCP doesn't like, you, you can be charged on the basis of being a victim of a mob attack, even when they massively outnumber you, you're unarmed and they have weapons.

FYI the reason for the arrest was confirmed by the SCMP, it's not just speculation.

"A police source said Lam and 12 others, aged between 26 and 48, were detained on suspicion of rioting during the incident on July 21, when a group of men in white shirts attacked protesters and passengers with steel rods and rattan canes inside the town’s MTR station."

On the other hand I'm still waiting for the Triad mobsters who actually caused the violence to have their final hearings. Any reason it's been delayed, other than the HK justice ministry is worried they'll blab about police collusion?

I love it too; it's so beautifully-designed. Not only is it payback for all the lawlessly rioting and violence brought on by the terrorists and criminals, it stamps out all loopholes to subvert national interest. It's as perfect as laws get.

And because the Triads stepped up to defend national interest from terrorism, what they did is no crime! The law is just to do what is good for China's national interests and not do what is bad for it. It is legal perfection! As Bruce Lee would say, it is like water; it shapes itself to every circumstance, leaves no holes for escape and is never trapped or defeated by its own rigidity. Water can give life, and as easily, it can take it away. Never fight against water... and in China, never fight against Chinese national interest.

Alternatively, the police should stop arresting these people, and shoot them 7 times in the back. It would save everyone a lot of time!

Notice you come out crying out injustice, unfair CCP, etc every time when something minor happens in Hong Kong, but anything big happens in the western world, you remain strangely........ silence!

He is a man of double standard I guess. How is arresting someone who has committed a crime in collusion with a foreign power worse then shooting that person 7 times in front of his children when his crime is far more minor (if he has even committed a crime at all). I for one am getting sick of how China does something equals bad and the USA does some equals good. This hypocrisy is just sickening

Has the relevant department acted upon this piece of information by capturing this friend of Joshua wong?

I don't know, but I really wouldn't thought so, her part in the stabbing as seen in videos (from memory) could be argue by any good lawyer, that she was only trying to pull the police away.

In any case, the police have far more bigger targets to go after as seen in the last 24 hours.

These people are no Triads, but there are locals. I've many friends born and lived in the district of Yuen Long. (Rounded dragon). My own sister in law is from there. The western MSM using the 'Triads' to make it sound more sinister.

They are just concern citizens who got together to fight off these invaders. These rioters ain't even from the area. An inconvient fact the MSM fail to mention.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised it's not the Hong Kong net-citizens that did the ID. China's secret services and face IS recognition is renown. Apperently it can recognise from just a few facial features such as an eye or ear.

Whatever, these people needs to be send to those Xinjing re-education camps the west keep telling us about.

Send them all to dancing schools instead
