No. This was when she returned.

You can see significant staining even as it was first heading out to sea.

You can design your funnel any way you want, but it isn’t going to stop staining like that when the ship is starting and testing engines while berthed.

Its not a problem to modify the funnels with a cap to cant the exhaust to the side.

Another way is to put a funnel cap for a more backward direction,

You can design your funnel any way you want, but it isn’t going to stop staining like that when the ship is starting and testing engines while berthed.

They can probably ameliorate the problem by angling the exhaust stack outboard and further tilting the actual, internal funnels at an angle away from the forward mast. But that would probably require increasing the height of the stack, add weight, and change the balance of the ship somewhat, not to mention increase the cross section of the ship from certain directions, which might in turn impact the 'aerodynamics'. Or they may simply tilt/bend the internal funnels without changing the stack too much.

Or they could just paint the tower black like in Type-054A
