Suggestion: Allow short search terms

The search function on this website is very annoying in that it doesn't allow "short" and "common" terms. This makes searching on this site very unwieldy since people are going to be searching for short and common terms like "Type 09-V" and "J-20". The restrictions on length and commonness of terms should be lifted.

You should be able to search 4 characters or more.
That's a problem when one of the terms is "095" and the search engine chucks it for being too short. I tried including it in quotes like "Type 095" but it still gets tossed.

From the view point of IT short-search may result in undesired results. Further, prepositions words like [in, on, with, and....] should be ignored in search too. To conclude, short search request, in my point of view, should be rejected.

True. Those terms may generate irrelevant search and put unwanted load on the server/database.

In that case, you should search for type 095 or type 095 submarine.

Yeah, I do that, the problem is the engine throws out the "095" part. This is the message I receive
The following words were not included in your search because they are too short, too long, or too common: 095
making the search useless. Try it yourself.

Can't you make a whitelist of short/common terms like "09_", "J-__", etc.
