Again something strange .. Anyone with idea what's this??
Posted by LKJ86/PDF in the "China Civil Aviation" section, but IMO looks more like an UCAV than a civil project?
:what:

Looks like one of the twenty flying wing drones being pitched.

It couldn’t be a drone though. There is clearly a cockpit that would be replaced by an intake in a drone.

Hypersonic missile is what the front of the object looks like. Behind it is the rocket it is attached to.
That isnt a rocket. It is a model support or

This is, just as others said, a UAV model. Subsonic UAV, Very Low Observable. Single Engined.
This is likely to be the Sharp sword. So, this photo is either a dated one ( few years ago) or them trying to improve upon the Sharp sword.

. This is not a civilian project. The explanation accompanying the photo says the following:
新启用的FL-62风洞
左二为601所所长刘志敏,右二为副总师赵霞(唐长红、杨伟同班同学)
FL-62是国际上最先进的大型连续式跨声速风洞之一,使我国大尺寸跨声速风洞从暂冲式跨越至连续式,主驱动压缩机功率达80MW,堪称国之重器,是我国下一代战机气动试验的关键试验设施。
2020年5月26日,FL-62风洞首次承接某型号试验。
Rough translation: Newly opened FL-62 wind tunnel, a key facility for developing a new generation of military aircraft. FL-62 is a large continuous transonic wind tunnel, one of the most advanced of its kind in the world. Previously, China's transonic tunnels were not capable of producing airflow continuously. The main drive compressor for FL-62 is rated at up to 80MW. The wind tunnel conducted its first model test on May 26, 2020.

In the photograph, the second from the left is Liu Zhimin, the director of the 601 Institute, and the second from the right is Zhao Xia, deputy chief engineer.

So, it would seem the model is a Shenyang project.

Interestingly, Zhao Xia was a classmate of both Yang Wei (designer of J-10, J-20, etc.) and Tang Changhong (designer of Y-20 and JH-7A). All three were in the "class of 5381" at Northwest Industrial University; that class was dubbed the best aviation class in history. Yang Wei and Tang Changhong were also dorm mates. Below is an image of class 5381, dated July 12, 1982.

The rest of the class must hate class reunions...

Maybe some of their classmates are working under them now.

"The full name of this model in the FL-62 wind tunnel is called "Small aspect ratio flying wing standard model". This model seems to be fired once a year, so it is better to introduce it
The standard model is like a reference object. It is a commonly used research model in the aerodynamic field. Carrying out wind tunnel tests and CFD calculations on this common standard model and comparing the results with the published standard model aerodynamic data can verify your own Whether the wind tunnel and the CFD program have reached sufficient measurements ..."
