We have seen images at shows displaying work on control systems for future tankers both probe and basket (Used by China) as well as rigid type. We have seen images pushing for Y20 as the basis of this but not Offical documentation. No prototypes or mockups with Officals standing in front of them. No paperwork released.
So on the face of it we have a good basis to conjecture a Y20 tanker. However that is not a absolutely proven fact. They could go and introduce some other platform although unlikely as the next tanker which would leave some with egg on their face.

I think Y20 based will valuable asset , via need entirely new plateform for tankers? Same plateform for multiple purposes always save upfront cost and maintenance cost along infrastructure
