Tens of countries (poor and rich, big and small) bought Il-76. Y-20 can be a very good replacement for these especially with the new engine. I think it is a when and not an if Y-20 will be flown by other nations.

Do you mean WS-20 ? Is it even economically viable ?

Besides all the terrible things this virus brings, one positiveis that China got a perfect opportunity to test and utilize the Y20 both at home and abroad. Before this China was still rather conservative and many times just let the Il76 do the work. The PLAAF should be more comfortable with deploying the Y20 on missions in the future.

Remember that there were a lot of Il-76 from the soviet era. I imagine that many of there planes were sold cheap or even very cheap. But a new modern plane? few countries will have the need or the will to buy it.
