Has anyone noticed that not much effect in Africa? So could the hypothesis that the disease will gradually become less dangerous in summer be true?
I have one feeling that the virus does not spread in hot climate. One might argue that there are cases in hot countries like Singapore, Australia (current season), Vietnam and Cambodia (I'm from Cambodia) and so on. To me, cases in these countries, first, are imported. second, local cases are spread in air-con atmosphere. For example, the only local case in Cambodia is a 38 year old man in Siem Reap who contracted the virus from his Japanese boss. They work together and I guess the place where virus pass to the Cambodian man was in their office.

Nothing of the sort! As I said, you really need to lighten up! its not a joke, provocation, sarcasm or what ever!

It is simply a cartoon I saw that showed the world looking in caring what happened to China. Then the second cartoon showed China looking in caring for the rest of the world.

I thought this is how it should be, nothing more and nothing less. Anything else is, down to your imagination and interpretation!

As I said, if you lighten up a bit, you probably find members here will respond, and engaged with you on a regular basis. (just an observation).

I have more or less same opinion.

Great video from a grateful nation for all the help from China. Italian broadcast chinese national anthem, and at the end Italian citizens shouted, "Gracias, Cina".

Little wonder, the Italians feel this way when, after all, help from the EU was less forthcoming!

At the risk of sounding political (especially as a mod), I still feel obligated to say this:
Maybe the media was right about the covid outbreak being a Chernobyl moment. They were simply wrong about whose Chernobyl moment it was.

but now I'm at loss with what's going in Paris:

as far as I understand, people were partying after the ban just like that (there's more than 4k cases there)

all comes to mind is 'Apres Moi, Le Deluge' (sorry about spelling if it's wrong, I don't know that language)
