There is more module, and the bottom one has separation wall.

Actually, if you check this photo, you will see that this wall goes beyond the bottom one. I dont think that that box could be inserted there.

And what else can be the purpose of those modules at the up left corner of the area ?

To build the ship.

Also, it appears that there are now 3 smaller cranes operational, instead of only one (the bases of the other 2 were already there).

Actually it seems that there are only 2 smaller cranes up in the air. The other actually seems to be the smaller horizontal crane.

To build the ship.
can be, but in that case the ships is not a carrier, or the building is in an earliest stage, because they need to fill up the huge holes under the water level. The building is slow anyway, if there is less parallelism in it then its going with the speed of snail.

The under the waterline section of the ship should be full with machines/ metal / supplies, not with air, otherwise the centre of gravity will be too high, and the centre of buoyancy (or whatever is the name of it in shipbuilding language ) will be too low.

64*27 meter big hole in the middle of the ship.

We have no firm information about the geometry under the roof, but from the three module visible two has huge emptiness in the place of the internal structures, and the third looks like a box dropped into the hole.

this is nothing more than wishfull thinking from China haters, the Chinese economy is suffering from no crisis at all, this is the new norm & it's growing at 6% or more just as the government planned even before the trade war, furthermore China only spends 1.3% on military so they have alot of room to maneuvre, the US calls it's allies who spend less than 2% as free riders, the US considers countries that spend less than 2% to be severly careless about defense, so by NATO standards if China was a member of then China would have been considered as being a free rider.

it is safe to say China will get at the very least 6 CVNs, and after few decades they can easily achieve parity with the US carrier force tonnage wise & numbers wise while still keeping their mitary spending below 2%.
The actual amount spend by China and US can be quite misleading. Many westerners claimed that China spending is much larger because they said many defense related programs are not listed under defense. Just like the US, monies spend on nuclear defense are listed under power/energy.

It is approx 200 meters long, but the best part of it still empty shell.
They rotated into line the two block at the top.

Looks like they contentiously checking if the modules fit together.

Looking at the two cavities on the bottom, this thing would have been powered by two big ass turbines at the rear, and you would need another two towards the center. Big as they are, 50 or 60MW steam turbines are a baby with the power generation industry however. I don't think they are going with the 8 turbine layout of the Kitty Hawk but going with 4 larger turbines like the Nimitz instead, albeit non nuclear. They might be out to build the biggest non nuclear or conventionally powered warship in the world.

Midway = 12 boilers and 4 turbines
Kitty Hawk = 8 boilers and 4 turbines
Enterprise = 8 reactors and 4 turbines
Nimitz = 2 reactors and 4 turbines
Liaoning = 8 boilers and 4 turbines
PLAN 003 = ? boilers and 4 turbines

They all have 4 turbines and 4 screws, only steam generation is different.

They will fill those holes eventually.

Satellite image from about 10 days ago.

Interesting. I didnt realized that they were adding the bow modules.

How old is this photo, and why dont they connect the 2 blocks ?
