I am waiting to see general purpose MGs or miniguns mounted on these Sino Blackhawks.

Clearly Not. He meant more as door mounted defense. Fixed Gatling guns have a use but Hollywood and Video games fat it wrong. Such a weapon would be better suited to a light nimble attack platform like the Z11.

That is a window gun not a fixed gun, which you see on pretty much all transport helicopters.

It’s a photoshopped image and the gun is in the wrong place. A window gun is more inside the aircraft than out. This as as the crewman who operates it has to be inside the helicopter. He’ll read the post.

The gunner needs to be able to manipulate the weapon that means charge it load it swing it about. It has to be in arms length.

And not the same subvariiant either. This looks like as if it could be the asw subvariant.

Indeed, the silhouette suggests a much larger belly array (mounted slightly more forward?) than the previously seen naval variant.
