No worry. They surely can count on you for 726 reminder - three meals a day, seven days a week. :D

Back to topic: had NOT seen comparable exposure of this big news at internet. The only rumor I saw says the deal is around 4 billions Ban, barely equivalent to one S26T (039A/B) submarine they ordered. So it should be far from calling it "the biggest naval export" for China, one single ship individually or whole deal (even in tons, 8 Pakistan submarines can suppress one 071). I also highly doubt 071 can cost more than S26T - despite these days, almost impossible to find apple-to-apple comparison, considering local industry offset, infrastructure & training, subsidiary, etc(damn!).

Little off-topic: must say, I'm shocked RTN dare to invest on 071, with NO sight in horizon how they are going to do with

By the way, a couple weeks back, I commented that a 071 costs less a 054A. That comment had caused quite stir and disbelief, before a few members did some digging and calculation to realize that it's not an absurd idea. LOL. ;-)

With the export to Thailand of 071E, it should shed some light on the real cost of 071. We'll see.

This 071E is a bit smaller thatn the original 071. The section behind the somestack has been removed to make it shorter (and lighter?) and it lacks a pair of CIWS.

It’s well known for long that Type 071 LPD is not that expensive since the info was posted few years back on the plan warship cost

It’s not the cost it’s the size

It looks like 071E deal to Thailand is worth USD130 million, not too far from the 1 billion Yuan that I mentioned before.

Jon Grevatt - Jane's Defence Industry
12 September 2019

The Royal Thai Navy (RTN) has signed a contract to procure a Type 071E (Yuzhao)-class landing platform dock (LPD) from China. The deal was signed in Beijing on 9 September and is reportedly worth THB4 billion (USD130 million).

Sources in Bangkok confirmed the deal to Jane’s on 11 September, but the RTN has not yet provided any official details. Jane’s understands that the service has been looking to secure funds for the acquisition for several years. Funding was provided through the 2020 defence budget, which was announced earlier this month, at THB233.35 billion.

ChinaMil, the official news portal run by China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA), said on 11 September that the contract agreement had been signed by the RTN and the China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC).
