The fundamentalist cpc supporters in the posts above, asking for wiping out the civil society of hk, don't realise that this is the core difference between a Liberal and China mainland society. This is exactly what the hkers dont want in their country. Do governments in UK, France, USA or even India want thousands of protestor on their streets, disrupting traffic and being a nuisance? No. But that's the basis of a Liberal society.
Don't lose sight of what started this agitation. Hkers don't want to be tried in China with its opaque, executive controlled courts. Imagine a powerful corrupt communist party guy wants to target you for his personal gain and you have no recourse to the courts ? In contrast see the HSR between Mumbai and ahmedabad, land acquisition is still pending after 3 years as local poor villagers are not all convinced to sell their land. As a upper middle class Indian, I would love a nice shiny hsr in India but its not happening until the courts and landowners are in the same line.
Democracy is not convenient.

As per the 2 systems rule, China has no locus standi in the internal matters of Hong Kong. They aren't doing anyone a favour by following the law.
China has to eventually bow before the democratic aspirations of the people of Hong Kong and withdraw the proposal.
And for all the economic success of China, its the people's choice whether they want to live like pet dogs or free men. Hong Kongers are rejecting the former.

7.5m inhabitants. Most of these is illegiible as they are under age!

Also, turn outs in western countries are very low as well (from memories, I can't be bothered to look it up just to prove my point)

And there are over 100 million trips by Chinese taken abroad every year most of them the rich so how come we don't hear about all of them seeking asylum? I haven't seen any reports how other countries have Chinese population increases in the millions.

These 2 videos are actually one video cut in 2 because looking at the two unique design patches on the rioter's t-shirt, this is the same person even though his face was blurred when he's crying. Which means that this video was actually taken on Sunday when the original part 1 was posted.

In other words, when apprehended by the police, this clearly mentally handicapped rioter tried to lie by saying that he was just commuting to school... in full riot gear... on a Sunday... before the school season had even started...

Yes I know, I might have forgotten to put down "this is the rest of the video" which actually capturing him pleading twice "that he was on his way to school" which I don't think it was on the first video.

You did say that this is the rest of the video and there is no misunderstanding but I pointed out the evidence for why these 2 videos are 1 in case someone else reading was not willing to take your word for it. And it is important to emphasize that they are the same video so we understand that it was Sunday, the time when the first part was posted and not Monday/Tuesday, when the second part was posted, that this idiot was claiming that he was headed to school.

Unbelievable, the past students (maybe university by now, or jobless) goes back to his old school shouting out instructions through the fence to the current students. 師弟。

Poor teachers and principle trying to negotiate for them to return to class.

Now in the UK (Not sure about USA), there's a law that protect minors from being radicalised!

So it is obvious these past students have been radicalising these younger students!
So why don't we hear any of these in the MSM. (Particularly, in the UK, where the headline news had been on ISIS radicalisation of UK youngsters)!

I forgot about this video, until it surfaced again. It was taken about 4 weeks ago. I love this video because it illustrate that NOT ALL Hong Kongers are pro-demonstrators, despite what the MSM teported on their front pages.

It also so how angry the ordinary citzens are with the "yellow guards" (as their are now known locally.

For those of you don't understand cantonese, heres a couple of extracts. The woman in black top said "get a gun and shoot you all dead". The woman in grey top said "you all growing up eating sxxt"! Lol. Love this brave citezens. They kids could turn violent any time!
