Some mistakes here.
1. On the 052D, its missing a datalink or satcom bulb that is located on top of the hanger. He didn't forget to put the datalink on the DL however.
2. On the 052DL, the ESM has more of a capsule shape than a cylindrical shape. This new ESM model has also appeared in the second block of 052Ds just before the DL and is being retrofitted on the 052Cs.
3. On the 052DL, I think the new "meshy" VHF radar array seems bigger and thicker.
There are new circular comm arrays being retrofitted on the top of the bridge deck on 052Ds and 052Cs, and does not appear to be installed on the 052DL, but retrofitted later. We can excuse that on new builds, but I feel no CGI drawings should be complete without them from now on if only for the sake of academic accuracy. The locations of these antennas differ ship to ship but two of them are generally located on top of the bridge in different positions ship to ship, and one ship in particular (161 Hohhot), three more are added between the two satcoms under the Type 517M array.
