I assume the aerial photo was taken from quite a while ago of hull 1 and 2, because JN has only launched two 055s so far.
It is simply a very modest way of highlighting China's shipbuilding speed. Few navies can compete with that kind of speed.

The original poster didn't say if the photo is new. I somehow have a hunch that it is. Maybe 101 came back to the yard for a final bit of work. Do we have confirmation that 101 has been officially commissioned?
It's certainly possible that it is 101 back for some final work, but I would've been under the impression that once it received its pennant number it would've been commissioned, and any additional "work" to be done would be related to actual naval crew learning to run the ship.

It's certainly quite possible that some naval personnel are receiving training from the shipyard, an orientation as it were.

does anyone remember the days when rumour suggested that DL will join JNCX in building Type 052D back in 2012?
We waited and waited and always ended up being yeah end of this year we should see Type 052D under construction at DL
Now it’s launched building simultaneously DDG and CG
These should be launched before 2020

I didn't see this photo earlier -- the 055 on the left we can see a hint of the pennant number 101, so looks like that ship did indeed return back to JN and so the aerial photo is a very recent one.
