Nice to see these girls get to the hard work, of working up several 5th Generation Naval Squadrons, I'm very happy to see these Charlies up and running, and ready to build a foundation for the future Naval L/O ops off those beautiful Carrier Battle Groups. These girls are the eyes, ears, and guns of the fleet, they will perform their mission admirably and effectively, its a happy day to see the USN move into the new Century fully prepared to meet whatever the bad boys want to send their way!

It won't be long before the "snoopers" get a surprise visit of their own, and that will be classic....

Lieutenant General
not sure what you're implying
What Popeye was saying was back during his days serving in the US Navy aircraft carrier, the mission readiness was around 60% for combat aircraft. It may not be as sophisticated in tech as today BUT they have a whole lot more airplanes to deal with on board at the same time.

but I still don't know an implication which would be like the Pentagon probably can or can't achieve 80% aircraft readiness this year
